hey all! i usually post in the micro forum but i figure id post in this forum as well since i am using coco.

little tid bit about the cab:
-31"Hx26"Wx15.5"D cabinet from Walmart ($35)
-175w mixed spectrum cfls (3 42w cool white and 2 25w daylight) (~$30)
-1 92mm Compusa 35cfm pc fan for circulation (soon to be a 120mm) ($14)
-1 120mm Maddog 60cfm pc fan for exhaust (got 2 for $6 on ebay but broke 1)
-CanFilter 705 scrubber ($40)
-passive intake
-2 5.7L sterlite containers with about 6L of coco in each (pics show why)
-1 12L sterlite for rez
-1 185gph Ecoplus water pump with 2 1gph button drippers (not in action yet) (~$25)

Strain: Indikilla (g33/diesel x toxic blue)

Pre-transplant shots

transplanted at an angle for 2 reasons: the 1 ga. pots they were in before were taller than the sterlite and i needed to take some height off of them.

after transplant. i will be lst'ing them back over center as they get used to the new pots.

some sprouting seeds from last grow, may keep one in that shotglass for fun.

thanks for stopping by and definately let me know what you think! i will do my best to keep both threads updated! later!

hey there lc00p4! yeah i didnt have access to a cam for a short while there and was workin a bunch. yeah still usin the cfls. im havin great results and would rather spend the money on a new Panasonic whisper fan. temps are still not where i would like them for summertime. not bad but not great either. nice job on the grow! hope you enjoy the smoke!

looking good so far tngreen, welcome to the coco forum!

What are you using for nutes and a watering schedule if you don't mind my asking?

Thanks supernuck! knew i was forgetting something. i use Botanicare Grow/Bloom, Liquid Karma, Cal-mag+, and hydroguard a couple times a grow. dont really have a schedule except alternating nutes and plain ph'd water every watering. ive just been goin by what the plants tell me. water when they look like they are gettin a little dry. when i get the pump up and running, ill prolly water once for 15 min daily.

Can't wait to see what you do with your Indikilla this run bro! The last thread I tagged was awesome

Yea I'm the same way...I go by instinct mostly...which kinda sucks cause I have no idea what the hell I'm doing...not really :biglaugh:

Anyways, I'm happy to tag another great thread!

:lurk:

hey VT! good to have ya here! well there must be some method to the madness cause you definitely know what you are doing!

update: turning the cab into a smaller ngb with a little veg portion where the seedlings and clones are now. they will have to chill in the big rubbermaid for a little while till i can do it cause i gotta flip to 12/12 tomorrow! otherwise they will be too big! im thinkin the girls are right about 2 months veg and they are lookin prime for flowering!

the mini cloner and seedlings

thanks for lookin!

Right on! :headbange

You're off to a better start this run....
That long veg will definitely help...plus more mature plants make better bloomers IMO...good job on the training....

-I prune the shit out of lower growth in my shows....especially deficient, undergrowth in dead spots....

-Your last thread inspired me to bloom with Cal/Mag+ for the first time....happy with the results....

Yea that light green in the canopy is a sign of healthy new growth....love shots like that.....Lookin' good!

Hey!! Tn and everybody else!!! Looking great my man! Yeah your gonna have some sweet frosty buds there! I just grew a gal out and harvested her last night! It came from the same batch of seeds of your Indikilla! They're not a real big stretcher like some others! However in a cab that it might not take much streching to fill up! I like seeing them close! I had to harvested some strains last night! Mine got pretty dense in latter flowering stage! I would have liked to see mine go 10 more days, but I'll have a great yield! Holla!!
Hope you don't mind me posting a couple of pics!
This was her about3 weeks ago!

Here's a couple of other strains!

This is pic of 1 plant! She had really spreadout!

hey guys! great to have ya in here! workin two jobs everyday this week has got me pressed for time so sorry for the lack of updates! got back monday afternoon from a 3 day trip to some quite larger plants! before i left, i set up the pump on the timer and gave them water once a day for about 20 min. used the rez up perfectly for the time frame and the girls loved the evenly spaced feedings! used 25ml bloom and 7.5ml cal-mag in about 9L.

VT, thanks man! im definately hoping you are right on that cause ive been very patient holding off on switching to see what these ladies are really capable of! im exactly the same way with the pruning and it has worked very well in the first two and looks to be doin well this time as well! using cfls it is a necessity to do so cause of the lack of penetration. great to hear that cal-mag in flowering worked out for you! didnt really think anything of it when i tried it but the girls loved it so i continued.

dc105, :yoinks: damn! lovin those shots of the IK! she is absolutely beautiful! you are so right on the stretching which is perfect for me! with only about 17" of actual grow space, i need a rather compact plant for the yields i want. how long did you let them go? i liked a few of the buds i took at 50/50 cloudy/amber a little better cause it wasnt so devastating haha. i let most of them go until i had mostly amber and they are strong! wake and bakes dont work to well unless i have nothing important to do. does work very well for my back and neck. just found out a disc in my lower back and 1 in my neck dont look to good, especially for my age, so the body relaxation is extremely helpful! MRI on monday to see how serious.

lc00p4, good to see ya man! the girls are sleeping at the moment so i can switch over to 12/12 but i will definately get some pics up as soon as they turn back on!

So you don't buy into that 11/13 rule for CFL's.....after reading that in your last thread I found some more posts on that....I used to supplemnt my HPS with CFL's and a while back I had some issues with a plant slow to bud, etc....I wonder if it had something to do woith running CFL's 12/12 :chin:

Lookin' forward to your next update!

peace

Noticed you have seedlings in coco, Im about to do my first coco grow and was just wondering if you could explain your germination process? Do you use any pre-germ methods like a soak or paper towel? Or do you just put the seed directly in the coco? Do you use saran wrap or a humidity dome of any sort? Or do you just keep the medium moist? Thanks

hey vt! well to be honest i forgot all about that 11/13 stuff. hmm slow growth huh? i may have to give the 11/13 a try to see if that was the case. update coming soon! been a crazy month!

smelltheflowers, thanks for comin by! my newb philosophy for germination is simplicity is key. i just put them in a shotglass of water, wait till they pop, and put them in the small pots with coco and keep them moist with water. all 3 popped up no problem. no humidity dome of any sort and never have. dont use one with clones either. unfortunately, the seedlings didnt stick around due to my neglect but oh well. i have plenty of clones. good luck on your first coco grow!

I dusted some others making a Knights Templar/ Heri cross. Should kick the potency even more! Also I'm making some Twisted Fuitr F2's and G13/dieselXDiesel/White Rhino! I'll have to get ya a sample pack of each! Later!
