Thats my point exactly. You dont want to DISSOLVE all of the trichomes when they are still on the plant.
You dont spray alcohol on a flowering plant. Thats kind of a no-brainer yo.

It would only be a big problem to dissolve the trichs if they weren't going to be staying around on the plant, right? I don't think that one shot of iso+water where it's just going to be drying right on the plant surface will cause huge problems in terms of potency. I don't believe it would make a white bud turn green overnight, since, realistically, the amount of alcohol you are actually applying is very minimal (think the amount in a hand wipe vs a bottle of iso - huge difference). The ISO that I've made requires agitation to help the process of dissolving and contact with almost pure ISO (i usually use 91%) to extract the THC.
