Tiny white hedgehogs

Whatever it is its facinating. Have you seen any bigger bugs on the plant recently? I uploaded a cropped image to Google images and got loads feedback.

I am guessing it’s a white ladybug larvae or a mealybug destroyer larvae.

The wax scale has nearly a world wide distribution. The picture attached is from the link I posted above.

Florida wax scale is thought to have originated from the northern Neotropical region and now occurs throughout the world, including, but not restricted to, the following countries:
