Don't know how much headroom you have,NT,but those VBS stretch like a motherf**ker. I veg for 8 weeks and mine are the tallest plants in the room at 5 1/2 feet+. I start a modified LST at 3-4 weeks and tie down the main stalk until 3-4 other side shoots reach the top one. Then I untie it. Lets me have 4-5 main colas and slows down the rapid stretch.

The drying method utilizes the oven, but with some alteration. I wrap the buds in paper towels, like little baked potatoes. I then wrap those in another two layers of wet paper towels. Then I put them in the oven on warm. I leave them in there until the layer of wet paper towels has dried out (10-20 minutes), then pull out the buds. Then I put the buds into a jar for an hour or two. I repeat this all day, then into a cardboard box.
This pulls the moisture out from the middle to the outer leaves and then dried out.

Yeah, I have been bad, raiding my plants of smaller buds so I can have some smoke. About 10 days on some of them... got to wait cause they look good. Your harvest was very nice, bet your happy now... Well, until the smoke runs out (hopefully never)

I just harvested last night. The 3 young ladies who helped me harvest just had to try some of the VBS that I had from last harvest. They enjoyed it,but also decided to try a C-4 bud that I had picked early as a sampler. Needless to say, after sampling both strains, harvest was delayed for a while. Fortunately, after a steak dinner and other munchies, we got the job finished.
My daughter tried the VBS and got pretty wrecked from it. Says it has a floral smell that she likes. She waited about 2 hours and tried the C-4. Veggy taste(celery), but 3 hits from the bong put her on her ass. Smoke not too expansive on either. Takes a few minutes,then hit hard.
My VBS were spindly,spider plants. Vegged in too much heat in too small a space. I use a modified LST to get several tops and the tops were bent over and pointing down with heavy buds. The buds themselves have a unique color. Not red or purple, but in between. Look like tiny foxtails compacted to make a fairly heavy bud. Wish I could show you pics, but don't own a camera. Lost it in the divorce along with my balls.
