Man, I'm convinced they pay someone to throw nails into the coco to bulk out the weight. Half the cocos I've used have had nails/rocks on the regular. Either that or I picture some rickety third world coco processing machine where the nails rattle out of it, lol.

how many plants a week do you harvest to get that 1.5-2oz? i know you average 7grams per plant and more on some.

Well I will only be harvesting 3 plants a week so I guess I should low ball it to 3/4 of a oz to 2oz

Thanks Richirich 99 keep your fingers crossed that I get one of those 63w Penetrator LED grow lights that members are testing well they are testing the bigger ones like 126w and 318w one's but I'm hoping to put a 63w one in my CFL cab cuz I think it would do wonders in there! But I probably will never have the heart to tear this cab apart since it was my first real setup and my buddy's that have been doing this for quite a few years under HID were saying they had never seen such a kick ass self sufficient growroom so small and still get the numbers I do! We'll see what happens in the future but we all know I started out a HID hater and probably will stay that way when I can afford 2 of the 126w LED lights but we'll see what's up. I still want to add a 4ft T5 to each corner of my tent to tweak the spectrum so I would do 6500K in opposite corners and then 3000K in the other corners which would also add 20,000 lumens to my tent so my girls would be some frosty bitches!

and Im guessing Ill have to use mother plant and clones and not from seed to do this right.

so u get around 6 oucnes every 8 weeks from 252 watts of clfs, your my inspiration. thats over a .6 grams per watt, cant complain about that.

but to this day nobodys beaten beekas 60 gram harvest of 72 watts of t-8s- check his link yall, its still my favourite grow on ic=http://www.icmag.com/ic/showthread.php?t=67001&highlight=150watt+hps.

once I get a lil cash to spend I'm going to upgrade this setup to PLL 55w bulbs I want to put 6 of them in there and get another 4ft t5 sunblaze strip for my veg cab so I can take the cfls out and get more height to manage my bonsais that don't fit into my mom cab

I finally gave this a decent read and it was a great grow for sure. I wanna put it to you that there is a lot of stem in the final trimmed weighed product. I don't even know how much stem weighs, and people can trim their weed how they like it, but that is way too much to go basing any record yield on, for me at least. If I had bought that from my guy, I would be asking the guy what's up.

Also, I know you didn't say this, but in the post I linked, he says "around .9 gpw" and it's closer to 8 at 8.33, just for the lazy people. 60 grams is a pretty even number so who knows, maybe the harvest was "around" 60 gm as well. I don't think beeka would have expected people to be discussing it in years to come, in points of a gram, is what I'm saying, not that he fudged any figures. But nevertheless, great grow.

Hahahah thanks Scrub your grow is looking great right now too hella frosty that's for sure and I can't wait till I can get some PLL's in my CFL cab I think I'd get even better results but who know's this setup seems to do DAMN well how it is....

i woulndt expect a better yeild with pl-l compared to what u have going on now thundurkel, look around the forum, the results with pl-ls are unimpressive so far, more like there gloriefied overpriced t-8s. with how u have your light so packed in your lumens far out do the pl-l's, hi pod had a good run with his pl setup but in the end pulled around ..6 grams i beleive, nothing special for how much they cost, if anybody could do it it would be you i suppose and id be interested to see what comes but to this date all the grows ive seen with them dont match cfl grows they more match t-8s

Forgive if I'm wrong but I thought the idea of the plls is a space thing. Getting the same watts into a smaller space. That and less light lost I believe in terms of light not bouncing around inside a coil? I have my eye on a 125w cfl for my needs for other space reasons (that and remote balasts are a bit scary still) though for what it's worth! That's the other thing actually, remote balasts keep the heat away from troublesome areas. That's what I've read on this lovely site of ours.
