Got my cab running ala drbud and your good self, never made it to perpetual but it was good as an experiment cab. used cheap pint cups and an independant hybrid of parentage (the blues x dj short's blueberry).
One pheno, stretched and made the top of the cab, easy.. the other one, couldn't get it tall enough without it bushing out to the point it didn't fit.. trouble was the stretchy one is too uppy for a nighttime smoke and too stupidifying for a daytime smoke. Went out into the garden after a smoke, tried to plant some honeyberry bushes outside, ended up having to sit in the middle of the lawn, having a giggle at the pointlessness of trying to do anything/move/have coherent thought/do anything but giggle and drool lightly. t'other pheno was a nice smoke but low yielding as the bitch won't get tall.
so it's back to the drawing board. I want to keep both these phenos because they are really nice but other things must be forthcoming. So i come to IC and what do i see?

so ya, that SSH looks LOVELY and has convinced me that my old favourite white widow (mns black widow) should do well in such a cab, planned to get WW and SSH anyway.. so my grow might be back on shortly.
I'm surprised there's still doubters of this method, if my lazy, noob ass can do it, anyone can. the few plants that went through my box, they got far from ideal treatment and thrived. Once heard this plant described as "Just a hardy annual" and it's true. I was using 2x23w 6500k and 4x30w 2700k cfl in a tad under 2 sqft (35cm x 53cm), supplemented with a couple of little 1u cfl, 1x2700k, 1x5100k 18w (had them, so thought "feck it" and put them in). seemed to work well. Had west + compost w/J innes (UK), bit of vermi, biobizz g&b, superthrive, molasses,epsoms and seaweed extract.. can't wait to get it back up but def need some more genetics first.
Incidentally, that room looks well cool.. books and art, combined with a good grow. can't fault that a bit
edit: the only thing i don't like about growing is i tend to get immune to/sick of a bud if i smoke it for more than a couple of days at once. Back in the day, i'd go to my dealers for a quart and it'd be different every time. The beauty of this grow method is i can have several different strains in at once, thus giving me the variety to which I am accustomed, but in a very small box, with a small lighting array. I still hold strong my conviction that micro grows are the future of stonerdom, and this is the most efficient method I have found so far. So thank you thund, drbud, et all for giving me the inspiration and help if i'm ever in the US again, i owe y'all a chonging or two

I'm another one inspired by DrBud, and Thund let me tell ya .. you've got it down. I sent you a friend request the other day, but i think this is the first time i've posted on your thread. Great show, I've watched in the bushes for a long time .. and believe me .. i am learning from everything. *packs a bowl* ... This buds for you!
Thanks RandomGuy I appreciate that I never thought I'd be mentioned along with DrBud when I first started to play with his style of grow. All I know is this way is just too productive not to give a try, I was talking with my buddy's mentor last night about strains and how I grow cuz he's a HID guy with a sealed room and co2 burners. I told him how many plants I pack per square foot and what I get per plant and he was pretty shocked. He said 16 per square foot!!! How the fuck are you doing that??? Then I went on to explain and he gave me props and said to keep doing what I'm doing cuz I just might be onto something after I told him about the Air Pots and my plan with them and he agreed it should would in theory and if so he might have to stack a few cabs together for the fuck of it ....

Hahaha no worries it makes me feel the same way, I'm also super excited about my new nutrient line up I just acquired check this out!!!! I got the whole Organicare line that just came out from Botanicare and it's totally organic! I hear I'll get equal if not better results yield wise as I do from Flora Nova but my taste and color is going to be incredible so we will see. I'm flowering a new row tomorrow of Maui Wowi x Tooty Fruity's and will be using all of this line up except the Nitrex and Calplex...

No sweat I like to keep track to see how I improve and what not but yea I'm excited to start using these.
It was the pH of my nutrient solution I was using then which was the Fox Farm trio and when I tested that solution with my pH strips it showed up at 4.0!!! Flora Nova sits at 6.8 or so and I'm able to drop it to 6.0 or so with a few drops of PH Down

its the space efficiency of this grow method that i like so much. I have 2sqft. literally. If i could not grow in that space, i could not grow. i smoke a reasonable amount and reckon that with a dialled in perpetual, i can support my needs in my space.. conventional grow methods i'd get maybe 1/2 of what i need if i was lucky.. pull 2 cuts at 7g a week that's enough for me... for now lol

When you mix your Floranova at , what PPM's do you think you're running?
A/N recommends 6.3 pH for my soil mix, peat and vermiculite which run lower than soil and a bit higher than Hydro/Coco. A 800 ppm mix of SensiBloom works out around 6.8 and at 1200 about 6.6. When I've mixed in Big Bud, my pH is 6.4-6.6 for my nute concentrations.
I'm just wondering if you're running a bit light on the nutes and instead of pH down, start working in a Bloom Enhancer.

Actually I copied my boys mix of 5ml Flora Nova Bloom 10ml Vegan Tea 10ml Floranectar 1ml Floralicious Plus 5ml Liquid Kool Bloom 5ml Calplex and I get a ph around 5.8-6.0
