Too funny....I to was wondering this moons ago.....so we dropped some akorns....to see if we could find something worthy...most popped....now mind you these beans were bought around 2007 me thinks...got 2 male's and a few chickens....maby 4 chicks...smell aight.....they are cloned and about to be flowered by one of my homies.......dunno we will see.....

ie if you were to go through eu's best efforts, you's be stomping all over adams, and dj's and et al's work, good and plenty, so just save it.

Only problem is that we're not living in the past and their present offerings are jokes. IMO nobody gets a free pass and it doesn't matter how much you have contributed to the gene pool in the past if you're current work is diluting it.

So they once did great work? Great! I thank him for that but wish he would graciously bow out if he's not going to put the same effort into the actual breeding that he does with the marketing.

And for the record the hands down worst pack of seeds I ever had the misfortune of popping was their Bubblegum

i remember well in the 90s when they were bomb (sage, bubblegum), but since 2k they faded to obscurity, ... it all started with busts end of 90s beginning 2k, then it was silence, ... germ probs started becomming the rule of thumb... sometimes in middle or end of 2k they tried jumping on the "california" bandwagon, with buku, pg13 and all the other crap, ... eventually never managed to carry out a full blown come back...

Sage and sour is dank as fuck and potent no doubt about it cali clone only strains wind up where I live every week the sage n sour is on par with 80 perecnt of them, im talking og's, blue dream, deep chunk, green c, bubba, chems ect.

Anecdotal, but I've done the buku and got two females. One tasted like grape cough syrup..er something and had a medium buzz. The other was a crinkle leaf mutant that was amazingly dank and 10 on the bag appeal. I couldn't clone her though! Oh and Mkultra was good, but nothing worth running twice.

funny thread, I don't give a fuk about bandwagon growers or what any of y'all think about me, call me a prick I won't deny it.This whole racket is disgusting from top to bottom, an industry built on lies and laziness grease the right palm and enjoy the success of work you didn't do yourself seems to be industry standard. just so happens I can not or will not respect that kind of mentality ever which leaves me somewhat isolated on these forums.At least DJ Short has work ethic and tried to create his own thing I respect that, I personally think the weed from his plants is garbage but others love it so bla bla bla.The point his I believe in his integrity and passion and don't see the same kind of commitment to his work in others he's the rare good guy in a bad business.That's the game we play, we can only choose for ourselves how we play it !!! So that said and my rant winding down I'll just say breeder bashing threads are a dime a dozen and 99.9 % are fueled by spite and other personal garbage so take um with a grain of salt.Now my own 100 % objective opinion on what I've seen mentioned in this thread.

ran heavy duty fruity from th seeds as my 1st ever grow I fucked up allot of things and got a pretty good yeild of pretty good weed. Matched the description and customer service was slow but they were willing to help any way they could. so TH seeds gets a + 1 from me.years later and a nice dialed environment I ran peek seeds blueberry and northern berry and found a whole mixed bag of different lower grade phenos some mutants and nothing at all worthy of a second look but they were cheap seeds and I got exactly what I paid for. sent a couple of emails got zero reply's and was left thinking "nothing more to see here." also ran ghs lemon skunk and had a friend do super lemon haze and while neither were my cup of tea lots of people loved them. As far as breeder bashing I've got no more time or energy for it cause this whole seed biz game is just slimy. buy what ya want grow what ya want choose your keepers how you want. in other words don't let these kinds of threads make up your mind for you. I mean how much stock can you put into a complete strangers opinion ?

i grew some sage n sour last summer......and it turned out phenomenal!

the plant was vigorous, the buds were dense for the strain and it tasted excellent...also a really nice euphoric high...

no complaints from thseeds

Hes not wrong about the Super Lemon haze. Disregard it comes from GH seed. Its a great strain you cant go wrong with.

THSeeds strains are great. Their SAGE, Sage n' Sour, Bubblegum are all terp heavy strains that any old school smoker will appreciate. All these people talking bad about Adam and TH Seeds are the ones buying a 10pack of beans and complaining they didnt find a winner LOL.

After reading this thread it makes me real happy i decided NOT to support TH Seeds plenty of real deal DEDICATED breeders to acquire stellar genetics from and he like subcool are not the go to breeders. If cups are that fucked i think its HIGH TIME to start a new series of cups without the bullshit and fare competition not being ranked up the ladder because you pay your way or add only your bestfriends to judge and choose you as the winner but all randomized with no leveraging to any competitor and to hell with placing first place because you have some coke either pure cannabjs festivity of quality fare judgement and i guarantee we will see new faces rather than the clowns we do see orchestrating these cups for their own gain and way to advertise false superiority...

Man, this thread is old! Maybe, with the recent activity bringing it back onto the front page, it's the place to pose my MK questions. First, background:



As a MK-Ultra aficionado for many years, I pulled the trigger on a 5-pack of regular beans a few years back. They were very expensive, and came from a Canadian seedbank (I am in the US.) Phenos were all over the place, although one was a "MK-Ultra" pheno that made phenomenal smoke. They all had hermaphroditic tendencies, lots of different stresses would cause them to autoflower in the veg room, they were very touchy plants. Very unlike the MK I grew 10+ years ago, also from reg seed. Those plants were very uniform, not at all touchy, and the smoke was blisteringly powerful...


Recently started some MK-Ultra, purchased a couple months ago from SHN. A 5-pack was much, much cheaper. Started with MK fem, and it was a disaster in terms of germination and vigor, as only one of two germinated beans made it above dirt. OK, started over with regs. 100% germination, vigor good, they just sprouted their first set of leaves.


Are the origins of these seedpacks different? I assume the pack I got from Canada was European in origin, i.e. from THSeeds Amsterdam. But were the seedpacks that I got from the US seedbank (at a quarter of the cost of the ones I got from Canada) made in the USA? If not, where were they made, Spain? Should I expect the same results as before, or is it possible that these are from more reliable parental stock?


My original intent in running the MK was, apart from having good smoke, doing some amateur pollen chucking. 10+ years ago, the males I got from a couple seedpacks were stellar. But my recent experience has been less so...I have a feeling the offspring, all hermi, got it from the MK father and not the Skywalker Kush mother.


Can anybody shed some light on this?
