That's thrips all right.
That spinosad will take you from horribly infested to completely wiped out overnight.
I would come back and hit everything again with it a week later.
Spray everything, undersides of leaves, mainstem, dirt, all rooms/boxs
I've sprayed everything from seedlings to plants that were days from harvest with no harm to the plants, but plenty of harm to those bastard thrips.

When using spinosad it is best to spray in intervals. I usually spray every third day three times and then they won't be coming back. Part of their life cycle is in the soil so if you only spray once you will most likely get them again. I have also been told that predatory nematodes work well from a friend. So if your in flower you don't have to spray anything just add nematodes and keep them moist.

I may be wrong, but that doesn't look like any thrip damage that I've had before...are the black dots what the damage is supposed to be? Thrips usually leave shiny/silver like streakes on the leaves when they have attacked my girls...I never saw any type of black dots like that...Good luck taking care of it, and I hope it never comes back!

the black dots are thrip droppings (shit).

Today I sprayed the whole room and every single plant with a spinosad based product.
However I haven't seen a lot of thrips.....strange!
We'll see in a few days how it went.
Thanks again to everyone.

I agree with you on predators...but last time I bought them, they arrived all dead.I'm in Italy...shipment is forever a question mark(delay),especially for me,living in a southern small town...so I decided to bought an insecticide. In this way next time I'll have to do with these little bastards,I'll be prepared!
I'm pretty secure on spinosad!

yup.. spinosad will do it.. you can supposedly use it at a soil drench as well with no harm to your root zone. it works well on just about all of the lil bastards that eat our plants other than spidermites.. for that gotta use good ol floramite.. aphids also meet the reaper with spinosad

SPINOSAD... that won't fail! Monterey Garden Insect Spray to be exact...

I only applied once, to the top and bottom of the leaves and in 24H bye bye thrips...

and it's listed in OMRI (Organic Materials Review Institute)

so should be pretty safe

Get anything with Spinosad in it.
Such as this
hxxp://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000BO8XZO?ie=UTF8&linkCode=as2&camp=1789&creativeASIN=B000BO8XZO

Kills them all and it's organic

:yeahthats

I had trips too. Sprayed with spinosad product by Bayer. After the first application they were almost disappeared. I sprayed twice after a week or so and those damn insects just faded away. Totally annihilated. Moreover the spinosad remain active on the plant tissue after applied. As they start to suck your chlorophyll again, they simply die after a while. And it will kill the borgs (aka spidermites) as well!
