gotta love when cops rob other cops selling drugs. happens more than you would think.

sounds like this "cop" was just selling pot and these 2 knuckle head rookies robbed the wrong guy.

Everyone should be reviewed and dismissed.

Hope a greedy lawyer gets a civil bite on their a$$es.

It made me smile at first, then I thought about those moron cops that got trapped in the dispensary man-trap... then the owner alleged they stole 24k but only reported 12 or something broke all of his stuff and left without even charging them with anything... sickening.

How bad can the outcry be over these types ... Who are you going to show your outrage to? You could end up shot in the face with a rubber bullet, and in jail.

I hate the machine.

What one of the other drug dealers went to the district attorney and complained about getting robbed? Not a one. I am sure the investigation was started by other cops or DA working for the drug dealers that were robbed. Nothing is ever what it appears to be.

I grew up in North Philly. This has been the dirtiest police force in the city for decades. Back in the late 80's and early nineties they used to rob crack dealers and put the work back on the street. The cops responsible at the time did get caught.

These weren't the only two caught up in this case. There were three others who were just convicted about a month ago for robbing a guy of heroin.

3 Philly cops were arrested by Federal and local authorities after they hatched a plan to rob a drug courier and later sell the drugs, police said. The officers all had between four and nine years on the force. They were assigned to various districts in north Philadelphia.

Police identified the officers as Mark Williams, Robert Snyder and James Venziale. They are all being held in Federal Custody, police said. Police Commissioner Charles Ramsey said during a news conference that the three officers will be fired.

According to police, Venziale and Williams allegedly pulled a car stop on a dealer they were in cahoots with, police said. The dealer had 300 grams of heroin on him which was confiscated by the officers. They made pretend to arrest him, and the three then allegedly planned to sell the dope. The courier of the drug dealer was watching what happened.
