The sample i received had no where near that much trich coverage, straight from the blister pack. There were barely any visible trichs, and the taste was mundane at best.

i know vodoochild, i saw and smoked your sample too. it was the same as the sample i got in the plastic dome, it didn't have such consistant trichome coverage at all.
i think we must have gotten some of the stuff grown by "other growers, to cover supply"?

Those pics dont impress me dude. thats not what is sold at greenhouse. you could have gotten them from somebody else, and who says its the ultra haze anyway.

when i see that pic franco it just shows me that there were at least 2 if not 3 types of ultra haze and only the best stuff looked like your sample looks. my sample didn't look like that, that's for sure.
in the end i don't care, it's up to you guys what you enter, what i find objective is to see that strain win the overall cup despite not being cup worthy. i mean both the makko haze and the g13 haze were clearly better then the ultra haze.
it might be good business sense by arjan to make sure he gets a cup, but it was not wise to use such a mundane strain to win with, as it was obvious to all that it wasn't the best sativa.
pity the samples were not all the same, although i do understand that the logistics of supplying such an amount are not easy.

The logistics should not be a problem, they have a year to get it all ready. I mean, it's not like the CC came as a surprise to them

in the end it wont make any difference how good the pic of the ultra haze is, it's still a mediocre smoke, lacking in any real taste and effect. definitely not some thing i would want to spend the 13 or 14 weeks flowering time it takes. when i smoke a haze i want it to be strong tasting and i want it to have that typical up time feeling that you get on a good sativa, i want to taste the trichomes and feel them doing their thing in my body, i want the kind of trippy hit that makes you laugh and makes you realize how special the weed is you just smoked.
i do not want to have to ask the others what they thought of it because i'm feeling sweet FA, only to have them look over with that kind of questioning look on their faces that says; is that it? where is my buzz? HELLO!?
