Now that I have begun to grow in volumes that are difficult and time-intensive to use the typical 2gal sprayers, I invested in a 12V electric tank sprayer. Rarely is money better spent than on something like that! Northern Tool tank spot sprayer, the kind that you can strap onto an ATV. Just put it on a little cart that will also hold the battery and off you go, spraying to your heart's delight.

Here ya go SeaMaiden... I posted this a bunch of pages ago

^^I did the same thing, but I used sulfur... Now the burner just sits around in the garage hahaha :ying:

You know whats been most effective for me? Not accepting clones from people, I never had PM till I started trading clones... Cali is full of dirty growers :ying:

sulfur is another band aid that does not kill pm, just knocks it down....

people use it way to late into flowering, ever had sulfur smelling weed?

last time i used sulfur, it killed 3/4 of my crop.....

when i went to turn it off a 10" blue flame was coming out the sulfur cup, 1 hour later 3/4 of my crop was dead.....

you can quadruple the amount of eagle20 and it wont kill your plant, but IT WILL KILL THE POWDER MILDEW....

Would you like me to give you the information that states that resistance to these types of treatments of/by the PM fungi is well known and documented ? It's a problem already in the agricultural world and it's getting worse. It's only a matter of time before we've created something akin to MRSA and resistant E. coli.

Lots of cited papers and good science on this particular subject are out there.

Was just discussing killing PM with UVC with a buddy, aint got time to check back through the whole thread to see if this has been something discussed, esp in bloom as alternative to any sprays. whats the general consensus on UVC? i know it can be dangerous!
Ive seen Eagle is effective, who stocks that in the UK?

as touted by UG magazine(front cover) issue? got it somewhere around here.

i can see why we should all be worried about creating a super bug ...... but if we use the eagle ONE time and the pm is GONE (dead , eradicated , no more) what is left to evolve into our worst nightmare?

using this stuff like you would neem oil would be a very bad thing to do, but if you use it like you are suppose to repeat applications are not needed.

i am no fan of chemicals, and they are not ever my first choice but when i do decide to use them i spend a lot of time reading to make sure i know what i m getting into. the eagle works great .... after that its on the individual grower to keep the PM out of the room.

the trick for me was NO MORE CLONES ....... easy enough

if i lived in the PNW where the pm is "omnipresent" i would not be using eagle 20, but where i live you CAN kill that shit and be done with it in one application. i did it in my room and several friends have done it (with my bottle) in theirs.

you may not "approve" of the eagle, but you can't tell me it does not work

Thats not true! It worked perfect for me :tiphat:

Is there a systemic spray for humans to stop them from blaming a product over user error?

i yup i love eagle 20. just like alot have already said i used it once and and ive never seen it again. no need to worry about resistance it's gone!! i never had it till i traded clones so that was an easy problem fixed.

i believe there are a few+ different types of PM, what works for one doesnt mean will work for another, lets get that straight. UVC light anyone?

"Solar radiation in the UV-C range is absorbed almost entirely by the atmosphere. Artificial UV-C lamps have been shown to be super effective in the laboratory at destroying bacteria, mold, viruses and certain plant pests as well as other biological contaminants in air, liquids, or on solid surfaces."
(this shit is dangerous please learn how to use the tec before attempting it-ok)

everyone seems to rate eagle gotta try that for future ref! inducing SAR(system aquired resistance) in the fkin first place by way of SA/ASA(salicyclic acid asa from aspirin) may help all round too!

actually, i use sulfur burners in my 4 50,000 watt warehouses and my 100,000 watt warehouse, for many, many years....

if you can say you even had 1/10 of the experience with sulfur burners then i have, i may listen to your argument....

i know how to use it, trust this.....

im not going to argue with someone who is trolling this thread because we all know how to kill pm, EAGLE 20.....

i live in europe and have read about this Eagle 20 stuff, but the problem is that its not sold over here.

then i found out that the active ingredient in Eagle 20EW is "myclobutanil"
well i then tried google on the word and bingo, up came Bayer Systhane Fungis Fighter
whose active ingredient also is "myclobutanil"
and that i ordered today, via ebay.

only one question here, will the use of "myclobutanil" cause a delay in the plants development in any way?

i ask because last time i used a Bayer product "Baymat Ultra Rose spray" the fungus did go away but the plants had 6 week long spell of doing absolutely nothing, just standing there with zero new growth at all. and i dont want that to happen to my plants 7 days into veg under 600w.

So theres no doubt that UVC is more effective at killing any type of PM than myclobutanil then? lol, a buddy says 3 in 1 rose spray by bayer is better, it has rapeseed oil added, only difference. lets have all the ingredients on the table, anything else in Eagle20? whats the ratio's of myco in each etc?

Hoover_lungz

We have Rose Clear here in the Uk its same as Eagle20ew but can only be used in vege, now what people would like to know is, is there a product that can be used in flower that works and doesnt wruin flavour or buds or damage your lungs?

I think 420247 is just being pig headed and annoying and not really trolling.
Everything I've read suggests using both chems and sulfur to avoid resistance.

I see all these people saying "I used it once and got rid of PM forever!" and I was one of them.
Until recently. When it came back, it came back with a vengence. Granted, I have PM all over my yard, but haven't seen PM on my indoor for over a year, until this fall.
It's making me think about breaking out my burner again, to tell the truth.

I really don't think Sulfur is a bandaid, nor is Eagle 20 a cure all. Remember Avid?
Using all the tools in your box is really the way to go, IMHO.
