Are 71 Barracudas pretty rare ?
I love classics,,,,,sounds like you have a couple of beauty’s,,,,,:tiphat:,,,s2

Yeah I lucked out on one of them the woman who owned her bought it in 69' ,she passed a few years back, and her husband kept it for sentimental reasons. He didnt drive her for years, and would have their son drive monthly from Boston to take her out of the garage to the car wash.
Finally he talked his dad into selling her,and I was at the right place at the right time.
Hard to find a classic one owner all original, especially a ragtop.

Yep the 71 Cuda' is a rare car , they start around 50k and that is still needing work.Beauteefull cars though.

Did you happen to get the Demon off Ebay?

It was listed there. I found the owner (guy in the article pic) from Moparts, and bought it from him directly when the ad closed. I have done a lot of work on the car, but haven't put a finger on it in a couple years.

Steve McQueen? is that you? i thought you were dead...

That car was a '68. I'd rather have the '68 Charger. My first car was a '68 Charger. If you read about the stunt work in that movie, the drivers in the Charger kept having to slow down so the Mustang could catch up.

Fuck I wish I still had that car.

IMO, "arrest me" red convertables should have a tan interior. Fastest street cars are those damn fox body rustangs. I kinda turned into a Mopar man myself after a buddy died and I bot his 68 fastback Barracuda drag car. I got a tag for it, did a burnout on my street, and was hooked. Got a 71 Dodge Demon now, tagged and insured.

It's the green one:

Love it,,,fly,,,,,kinda agree,,red with tan or black leather but it’s a 60s Mustang,,candy apple red and red leather rules, lol,,,,
Have a 55 AMG droptop at the moment,,,,,left factory with 370bhp and with a gentle re map it’s now got 400bhp and better 0-60 but can never put the power down for long as even most motorways have cameras but not the M11:biggrin:
Would swop it’s for a 60s red Mustang ” in a heartbeat if funding allowed,,
,here’s my old girl,,,18yrs old now,s2
