why???? does soil buffer better than hydro by that much it doesn't matter?

then ill just buy a PPM/EC pen and forego the PH for starters...

Soil.... set out tap water 24 hrs prior to use and add water to soil. Soil will buffer the water to close p.h (soil has p.h. buffer in it) and then plant will adjust it to what it likes and needs.

Hydro... look up lucas formula, buy a trunchton, mix up a batch per instructions, mark a ring around the trunchton with a magic marker where the light blinks to..... fill rez once a week with water and add a and b until it hits your black line on your trunchton meter.. if the light blinks at the line your p.h will be right where it needs to be.

I have not used a ph meter in years... no need

(FNB, OR Maxi and just Floriuos Plus+ and Rapidstart and a FloraNectar mmmm)

and yeah right now I do bubble and leave out my tap overnight
till I get a filter for the hose or this thing from Hydro-farm like $35
and filters cholrine for your yard house conncection

or do a pump and a plastic res. out in the yard with my Nova, love GH all day on this yard stuff too
