I grew out one seed from a $90 pack of H3ad's CJ's & she was beautiful.
Recalling that H3ad mentioned CJ can throw nanners when temps are high in bloom, I put her to the test, coaxed a few male flowers from her & have just harvested 35 dark striped female seeds from that plant.
That's $665 worth of CJ female beans by today's pricing.
Plus, I still have 13 more of the original CJ's & approximately 2 zips of buds from a one gallon container.

Hell, I'd just like a chance to buy something.
I've been asking since yesterday why I can't buy since I sent all my info in when they first announced that it would an invite auction and I haven't heard a thing back.
By the initial response to this drop you would think they just open it up since they aint moving. this drop should have landed with a bang instead it was a thud.

Same here. Explained in the one thread that I can't PM and that my handle at the bay is same as here. I wasn't added to the list and then saw the prices and decided those 2 things together is making me sit it out. Too bad cause I've bought their gear before and shared my grow.
Boy I still wouldn't spend 100 on five. I top out at 50 for a five pack of femmed beans. Atleast the REG beans you can make f2s and crosses.

I bought a pack of Casey S1 yesterday. I couldn't be happier. They are expensive for seeds, but I have finally reached the turning point when it comes to price. $195 with shipping for some seeds is nothing. Really no one can bitch. The price is a mental block, plain and simple. In reality if you paid $10,000 for a pack of seeds you can make your money back very quickly still. So a couple of hundred dollars to get some great genetics is nothing. Around here a zip goes for $400. You do the math. Even if you are getting $3200 for a full one how can you bitch about $195?Even if you are growing for yourself only, I use to spend $195 in a couple of weeks drinking. I wonder if the same people bitching would also try to haggle with your tattoo artist? How can you argue with forever? Even if you are running only a 600 watter I still don't get the complaints. I for one will enjoy my Casey S1, and when the GDP S1 comes out I will be more then happy to pay the same price. To each their own.

I think the other thing is making everyone a little hesitant is though CGS has great gear this is their first offering of Fems and 10pks at that at a steep price. I hope everything goes great with their fems but never having seen them grown before makes you take pause.
I'm still thinking about grabbing 2 more packs because if these turn as great as I hope they do, it will be a steal. Laying down $600 right now is a little hard.

Actually a single pack of CJ was bid up around 1000 bucks...
Howev3r, Ms. Grateful has informed me the bids were trollers and it was never paid.
So there is the whole story, and why I thought a pack of Casey went for so much. I knew I remembered reading that somers.

after reading about the seeds, me + some mates decide we'll buy 3 packs n divi em up between the 3 of us...go to seedbay to buy em, and see u have to be invited to buy em... what's up with that???
