Thermometer accuracy

Hey. I've got a tent that I'm still trying to dial in. Either too hot during lights on or too cold lights off and I have two hygrometers in there. I have one with the cord which is hanging pretty much right about seedlings and one on the floor in the back... And they are both 10 degrees off from each other... And they are not too far. The hanging thermometer is pretty much right under lights and gets lower temps then the one that is that is not directly under the light. I can't seem to figure out my accurate temps in this tent. The seedlings are grow I g what looks to be fine. Bit keeping track of temp and humidity is getting tiring trying to figure out which is more accurate. What do I do or what product should o get for the most accurate readings?

It's normal to get different temperature readings.

If there is a fan blowing the hot air from the lights towards one thermometer then that will read higher, and if you have one which is getting the cooler air being drawn into the tent it will read lower.

That light looks to be too far from the plants as well, or did you raise it for the photo?

dude before you upload your images right click on them and rotate them. it will make it much easier for people to actually see whats going on.

why is it that you have the tent intake flaps closed and 6" ducting coming in the hose holes?? active input? where is that air coming from? where does the exhaust go? that one pic has the themo on the floor, what are the temps of the floor?

EDDIT: I cover each baby with a clear solo cup (with a 1/2"-1" hole in the bottom) for 3-4 days until they get stronger.
Protects them from drying out too much and wind that is too cold for them... as a mini humidity dome..
and buy a couple analog/mechanical thermometers like this: https://www.amazon.com/Springfield-...1484565174&sr=8-3&keywords=analog+thermometer

Intake flaps are closed due to this not being a light leak free room. I live in the same room as these plants. The ducting is for passive intake right now till I get my inline fan in the mail. Exhaust goes out the top pulled being a 6inch exhaust fan
