Grow is looking really good! What did you think of the Thai you grew, have you tried it yet?
Thanks for looking at my Durban poison grow @gedLang. I think I harvested my Thai too soon. One hundred twenty-eight days were not quite enough, but my DP ladies couldn't wait any longer. The sample I tried was VERY disappointing.

Plant #'s 1, 2 and 5 appear to be one pheno type. They are more robust, growing faster and taller with longer internodes, bigger colas and thicker branches. The second pheno type is displayed in plants 3 & 4. They are more compact with shorter internodes and more lateral branching. The colas are smaller and have more trichomes. I am still unable to identify the smell on these DP ladies, but it is stronger and slightly different than the more robust pheno. I have 2 clones going on each of the seedlings. I doubt I'll get a keeper but it's good practice for me!

My Durban Poison (F) were white label seeds from ILGM. I couldn't find any reputable breeders that carried DPs. Do you know of any? Where did you get your seeds from?

I am quite excited about this run! It's turning out pretty good if I do say so myself...

Time for an update. My Durban Poison ladies are at 49 days of 11/13 lighting. That's 7 weeks. They are really starting to put on weight. I had to stake up and tie up six or seven colas that were starting to lean on their neighbors.

The smell is getting stronger. It's kind of an off citrus smell. Maybe kumquat? Earthy tones. Still hard for me to place...

Trichomes are getting denser.

I've never had a strain that grows such big fan leaves on the colas. I try to keep the offenders stripped off so they don't shade the shorter buds. There are still plenty of leaves down lower to act as solar cells.

2 or 3 more weeks, I'm guessing. Any thoughts of their finishing time?

Eight weeks of flower so far. The majority of pistols are still white. Foxtails are growing bigger. Maybe 2 weeks more until they are ready.

My Durban Poison ladies are at 63 days of 11/13 lighting. 9 Weeks.

I'm not sure how long I should wait to harvest. I'd love to hear what you all think about timing.

Here is a close-up of a bud on my DP #1 lady. She has the biggest colas and the most fox-tailing.

And here is my DP # 2 lady.

And here is my DP #3 girl. Looks like she will be the first to finish.

And here is DP #4. DP#3 and DP#4 are more compact than the others. With smaller colas.

My final DP#5 lady. DP#1 and #5 have the largest colas.

If you zoom in on the close-ups, you can get a pretty good view of the trichomes.

I would really REALLY like to hear what everyone thinks about timing.

Thanks to all for checking out my Durban Poison grow!

This is crazy 🔥🔥
Looks like perfection to me.

I would personally stop feeding, restrict watering just a bit to maximize terpene/resin production, wait a couple days up to a week maximum and harvest. I think their overall health and quality will degrade after that if you push them too much.

#3 looks on the harvest window already. Maybe 3-4 days for this one.

Thanks for the reply @FeelHaze. I harvested my Durban Poison#3 plant this morning. 66 days of 11/13 lighting. Left a hole in my 4x4 bed. I'll cut out the stump after I chop the other ladies. That will probably be next week.

Check out the little marigold blooming at the bottom of the photo.

And here are the buds hanging in my drying closet. 69F and 65% RH. I use colored tags to distinguish between each individual plant. Pink is for my #3 lady.

It's not a huge harvest, The colas are short, but they are pretty plump.
