HAHAHAHA! That is overly kind!

To be fair, you could use the mix and never do anything else and the plant will still fall over and die...lol. It ultimately comes down to once again, the mix being a tool in which to utilize. You've done so with the ease and smoothness of transition that only an expert gardener can do...and this is a direct testament of your own dedication and focus and skill; not mine, friend! I really do nothing...in that direction, blame nature! Organics are simply amazing and natural gardening techniques are truly sooooo much more simple.

I can only smile here and scratch my head in all honesty...your garden is better than mine! Like Phillthy's...lol. And it's my beast...hahahaha! But that is once again because it isn't me that does it...it is the earned results of intense focus applied to the two areas of importance...environment surrounding the root zone, and the environment surrounding the foliage.

You sir, are riding the wave! :respect:

Quick question(s), and I do apologize if you've already mentioned it..

Did you get your blumats up and running? I see the plumbing for 'em, but last I recall, the plumbing was there but they weren't quite rockin' and rollin' yet..

What's that material on the tops of the pots? Looks like just rocks.. ? What's the reason for the rhyme?

It's kickin' in here, per always.. ! :respect:

I didn't. I've been hand watering this whole grow. Its more work, but it gives me a reason to go in there every day. In past grows when hand watering, I used to water every other day. Now this grow, I've been watering everyday. The pots are drying out faster bcus of the size of the plants, and the room is warmer bcus of the upgraded lights. I think they like getting watered daily. I will use the blumats in the future if I have to leave town for a few days. I just prefer to hand water.

The top of the pot is covered with landscaping rocks to help with evaporation. It also keeps the water from pooling while I hand water. I got this idea while reading Usual Suspects thread last week.

Ah! Zacklee what I was figgerin' for the rocks.. I like it!

Santa brought me some blumats this Chrissymas, and just last weekend I plugged 'em in to my indoor lettuce/chives/basil/parsley/cilantro/dill, .. Figured I'd do a sort of test run with 'em, just so I could get used to getting them dialed in..

I have to say, they're working quite well! It's weird - because I'm a stupid human, I need to SEE to believe.. So every time I'm in there (pluckin' basil for a pizza, pasta, .. mmmmm), I'm hoping to look down and see 'em mid-drip.. And when I don't see 'em dripping, I have this moment of "WTF?!" .. And then I look at the pot, it's clearly wet, and i check the level of the water in the rez, and it's visibly less full than the day before. :dance013:

I can't wait to get started on my own less-brilliant version of your walls, Marlo! :respect: Almost certainly not as beautiful nor dank as yours, and only 2/3 the power, .. But I'm excited to get'er rollin! :D

I'm glad you asked. I hadn't really checked on the smell, mostly bcus my DSD are in the front and that's all you can smell. I stuck my hand under a bud on #1 a few days ago and was very pleased when it came back stinking like citrus bubble gum. And strong as fuck too. #2 had almost the same smell, but much less intense.

Another thing about the Bluetooths.... I have 1 clone of each pheno veg'n away. The plan was to pick one and run her again on the wall. The bigger they get, its starting to look like both clones are of #2. Not completely sure, but I think I screwed up. #1 may have to get reveg'd. Her yeild looks pretty good. Definitely the biggest single cola I've ever had, by far.

I'll try and snap a pic for you.

Sounds like you found a really nice yielding keeper man! Usually that citrusy sweet smell relates to the high too so I'm gonna guess it ends up nice & euphoric with a very happy uplifting but peaceful/blissful buzz come smoke time! :joint:

it has been 15 years since i had a small grow and messed with 400's, scrogs, vscrogs and my first dalliances with vert bare bulbs. where the hell were you when i needed you bro! (prolly ou there doin a better job than me)

your restricted space vert grows have been an inspiration for so many small mmj growers in my neck of the woods. cant say how many times i linked folks to your grows when they complained about not having the space or wattage to meet their needs.

the WallsOfWeed tek?
growing ON the wall instead of THROUGH a screen? GENIUS.
obviously the result of your staying with this grow style in spite of your growing experience. just fine tuning and fine tuning until you arrived at this (almost?) perfect system.
its only a matter of time before you start seeing grow tents with built in "espalier" screens.
anyway...Walls Of Weed sounds way cooler than Espaliered Ganja Growing System. eggs?

anyway marlo, you rockin it with this one. hope you never break my heart and decide to rent a warehouse.

^^^ I have to agree.

The ingenuity and sheer quality put out in this setup is so efficient.

I think I stated it in one of my firsts post in this thread, we as growers were really LONG overdue for a new acronym type method of growing...lol. I say this with all sincerity. We had for the most part settled in and been using current techniques. FIM, LST, SCROG, SOG...lol...It is truly awesome to be around to watch the emergence of a new technique, WOW, which I agree that we will be seeing more of this type of thing.

Truth is, I have an old 4 X 8 sealed box that isn't being used...I've considered giving it a go myself!

:respect:

LONG LIVE W.O.W. ;)
