The show has jumped the shark.
It reached the limit of over the top stuff, and has evolved into sadism porn. Ok, we get Negan is an asshole, which only leaves how to get him out of the picture.
But to do that, you are going to have episodes of him just being a dick in order to give the inevitable come uppance some meaning.

Since the season opener, it just feels like we're waiting for the final showdown with Negan. Wouldn't be surprised if it doesn't happen this season.
On the other hand, I was wondering what happened with Jesus. At least hes stepping up.
It would be fun to see Maggie and Sasha carry out Black-ops type raids on small groups of Saviors. Badass with a baby bump hacking and slashing.

Maybe all the little groups of people that negan rules over will get together with Ricks lot and there's a big war. Probably not though
I think there must be other groups besides the Hilltop and Alexandria and the groups of past seasons. And we still don't know anything about the numbers and reach of the Saviors.
They take 1/2 of everything so they could number up to the combined population of those under their 'protection'. I assume the Saviors are better fed, so they probably number between 1/3 to 3/4 of the combined population.
They could have big farms that would significantly increase their numbers.
I can see the season ending with Negan looking down on Alexandria.
There were a couple of ladies there that might fit that bill. But when those little boys hit Carls age, tang all day long!

Ya but how many of these saviours want to be under negans rule? Surely they can work together without a terrorist dictator as a leader.
If ricks group can find a couple of turn coat groups to fight with them it would be good.
What about that group carol is stopping with?

I want the mid-season to be lesbian Island, fairy tale land, hilltop and the burn face guy with some other savior insiders to fight negan. Then lose to him and Negan just be ultra furious and just kill half of everyone an put his boot on everyone else neck who was allowed to live.

Mid season is neagan killing Spencer. After Spencer goes to him with a plan to kill rick and run alexandria for neagan. Neagan opens him up with a knife for being a coward.
Rick isn't happy that neagan has killed one his people again (not knowing what it was about) and start's to think of other ways to deal with neagan.... the war is coming people!!
Also is it wrong I really like neagan as a character?

Ya it was like pure evil holding pure goodness. I was waiting for something to happen. I mean he likes to send shocking messages through his actions. The potential for something seriously evil and shocking was there in them few minutes.
But maybe that says something about my mind lol because he actually looked peaceful while holding the baby. I think neagan is getting broody lol
