i no this in no way makes up for the 3.66 a gal i am paying at the pump

Over here in the UK it's about 9.70USD for a US gallon of *diesel (£1.30/l & 1.98 usd/gbp, for you pedants ) - up %20 in the last 6 months

I commute a long way for work, and am currently losing money...

If our Prime Minister gave me a cash bribe to kick-start the ecomony, I sure as f**k would invest it in growing equipment - I need to to keep my head above water! What a state of affairs for a "professional" worker! - It's getting tougher for everyone nowadays!

Props to you 'Erb for doing the right thing and looking after yourself - no other fucker's going to these days...!

hey monkey i hear you guys are up around 8 to 10 dollars a gal over there ..we just hit the 4 dollar mark her e..yeah i am an old fat hippie and this walking shits starting to fuck with my buzz ..haha..
we have almost doubled in price since 2 yrs ago..i can remember buying gas for 65 cents a gal as kid..i dont no how this is going to pan out ,but something better happen soon..i am giving my jeep back to the bank..its cheaper to take the hit on my credit then to go down swinging at something i cant beat..i am off to find an old honda or anything in that range..

oh and they still havnt given me my money ..fuckers..

HW- I finally got the "stimulus"-lol. It was only about one month late and they sent me a check even though there was no reason to go that route. I sent my payment using my common checking account #. I guess they just didn't "feel like" sending it direct dep.

Gasoline is putting the hurt on the American consumer. So much so that most plan to spend the stim payment on gas and groceries, not the latest LCD TV. They don't include trivial shit like food and fuel in the official inflation #s since it usually makes them look pretty bad. CYA and all that stuff.
