If you like really good Indonesian try 'Tempo Doeloe' at Utrechtsestraat 75. Also, excellent Chinese at 'Szechuan' on Reguliersdwarsstraat . One more: great pancakes in a cool setting = 'Upstairs' at Grimburgwal 2....really a cool tiny place with a staff and good food.

I've been very sick ..upper respetory infection & had actually cancelled my trip,but decided there was NO way i wasn't going to make it...1 way or another....sick or not.
