I got the info from here. No clue if its not accurate.
Democrats will need to pick up three or four seats to gain a majority, depending on which party wins control of the vice presidency.

It looks like you added the 2 independents onto the 47+2=49. It should be 45+2=47 ..They have 47 total with the 2 independents

Correct. With the 45 dems and the two independents who caucus with them makes 47. If the dems pick up 2 seats and win the presidency they will have control of the senate with the vp vote. If Trump wins the dems need three seats.

I thought I had spelled it out pretty clear. It takes 51 seats to take control without the VP. If both parties have 50 seats then the VP casts the tie breaker vote. The senate has 100 seats control goes to whomever has 50 plus the vp tie breaker or 51 with no VP takes it.
47+2=49 seats. This would give the GOP 51 seats. The VP only gets a vote if there's a tie. In your math there is no tie. The VP doesn't get to vote for anything else. His vote is only a tie breaker vote.

The advertising for the upcoming presidential campaigns should be interesting. I expect fabricated mud slinging from trump. On the Biden side, he doesn't have to say anything negative. It will be way to easy to hang trump with his own words. All Biden has to do is stick to a positive leadership message with a plan.

hmmm...seems like you’re saying that anyone who stands against nazis/fights nazis are pussies and that the lives of black people don’t matter.
Personally, although i lean right politically, i do not support either of your positions. I suspect that lots of other right leaning people don’t support your positions either. And since the mentally demented bone-spurred coward doesn’t believe in traditional conservative values, i won’t support him either.
