I experienced that myself with some bills. Took 3 letters to the main post office to make sure they got mailed on time.

2 of them were delayed about 2 weeks.

because of the move to Mail in voting, and the GENUINE problems with mail being real slow, it really does look like ANOTHER Trump train wreck.

i guess related to Covid19, that's why people want to do Mail-In.

And Trump's supporters are rural voters, rural being where most of the mail problems are.


It's looking like it's reasonable to expect a 15 point difference, 57-42. 57% for Biden ?

Part of that 42% gets delayed, and it's no longer even 57%. it's 60-30 or something until the extra rural Trump votes show up.


Mainly I don't want to hear Trump whining about slow mail, after being in a position to fix it, and not fixing it.

it would not bother me if his version of a Shakespearean tragedy ended up with him being shot by some veteran sniper with nothing to lose, and the skill to make a 1000 yard shot.

Thanks for the article. Their list of demands were local not national, and the way they presented them, per the story, sure seemed like extortion, like the mafia.

The next to last sentence from the story...

“The BLM protesters in Louisville say the list was not a set of demands but that they want to start a conversation with local businesses.”

Conversations with local businesses sound fine, but “conversations with repercussions” sounds to me like extortion. I am not an attorney, but since the “demands” are now public, if there are any “repercussions”, then the store owners have a cut and dried case.

While I wholly support BLM and would like to see an end to the systemic racism we have in the US, i would caution them about seeking too much too quickly. :friends:
