Have you ever been to the Chicago suburbs? There is a mix of people no neighborhood is mostly white. Also there are many white gangbangers running around shooting people too. People can get a decent job but many would rather sell drugs and live the gangster lifestyle.

nope ive never been in the state of IL whatsoever but growing up in NY/NYC i'm sure I have an understanding of the area as they seem similar if not NYC being even more mixed.



take this map of racial demographics, and now match it up with a map of poverty, crime, murder, and violence in chicago. you'll find that for the most part it is the mostly blue areas (mostly black and less well off financially) that match up

no offense but this is such a copout answer in my opinion. it's almost like a comical explaination for an extremely complex topic.

I do work for quite a few elderly black people who have their concerns. People tend to target soft targets and unfortunately the elderly are often targeted. Gary was once the murder captital of America.
