I remember taking a drive to northern Michigan in November a few years ago. It was about 70° and sunny in Indiana, mid Michigan was cold and no leaves on the trees, upper Michigan was snowed out. Pretty crazy the difference a four hour drive can make.

Media lawyers note this is not the first time this sort of defense has been offered. A $10 million libel lawsuit filed by the owners of One America News Network against MSNBC's top star, Rachel Maddow, was dismissed in May when the judge ruled she had stretched the established facts allowably: "The context of Maddow's statement shows reasonable viewers would consider the contested statement to be opinion."

I await his great wisdom come 7:00 tonight :D. Court battles get dirty, people will find any excuse to win a lawsuit. Does that mean I watch and believe everything I hear like the Democrats? Absolutely not.

The fact that they're spending the morning after "defending" Trump's support of Proud Boys rather than being able to claim victory tells you everything.

That performance was ruinous for Trump, for anyone not already a maga-hat. He shows active contempt for democracy, the election, the process, even the very idea that he should NEED to compete to be re-elected and isn't simply entitled to continue ruling. The election hasn't even happened, and Trump's already calling it a fraud and openly saying that he hopes SCOTUS will overturn the results.

His base will love it, of course, but they're not enough to carry the election.

From what I can tell proud boys are not white supremacists by any means. Many members are not even white including some of the founders of that group. I have learned that these days if you support Trump and like America then you are considered a white supremacist. They do like to get into fights with antifa, some people just have too much time on their hands. I believe Trump won, but I love the Trump show so...
