Trump wants to give federal school funding directly to parents. This will allow them to send their kids to private schools, home school, this is amazing! Maybe it's enough for parents to quit their day jobs. That would be cool. It will certainly bypass state mandated forced vaccination weapons. So that is fantastic. I am looking forward to seeing how this plays out.

And, yesterday forced medical price equality around the entire world! I remember having to pay $800 a month for common meds for lyme disease. I was poor as fuck and had to also pay thousands out of pocket because the corrupt medical/insurance complex didn't recognize my specific illness. And would have had to pay the individual mandate penalties of obama care (somehow I ended up not having to pay that, thank goodness). Now the same meds will probably just be a few bucks. Because most costs of healthcare are racketeered charges. It's a racketeering conpiracy. I wouldnt be surprised if more than 90% of healthcare costs are simply racketeered profits for all kinds of insuance middle men (and women).

I can agree with the schooling in part, however one cannot put schooling in the hands of parents. Parents [most] are too stupid and religious. There must be a standard curriculum. Robotics instructed small groups is ideal.

if both parents are typically working full time jobs just to keep a roof over their heads, they kinda need a daycare... shame we can't raise our kids because of how we've structured society.

and while i mostly agree with microbeman (though i am not a religious nut and will be teaching my kids to think critically), can a robot instructor socialize our kids?

not that i think schools are amazing socializer techniques... i mainly learned how to use humor to avoid being abused by the psycho bullies

I would suggest a human adult for discipline and socializing but computer - robotics generated instructions. A computer can pick up on problem areas better than a human and the student is not so stigmatized by a computer interaction. Very small groups assembled by cohesiveness is key. This will minimize the bully-cheater factor.

This would also minimize bad teachers which are a major problem in the system.

As a public school, charter schools are prohibited from religious instruction.

As my grandson is in a charter school, I am down with vouchers or more funding for charter schools...ours is run in part on donations of time and money.

local schools here buy and send home computers for some children that cannot afford them. one problem is that there are areas of local counties with no internet. in-person teaching is far superior to video bullshit, the teachers hate it because they cannot get with a student having problems & help them work through it. if parents want to send their kids to private schools & can afford it out of their pockets, there is nothing stopping them. folks that DO NOT have kids pay taxes to support public schooling, so the well-to-do can quit fucking whining about wanting "their" money back to give to another school.

Since you obviously know NOTHING about how things work in this country, here’s the scoop: the Dems in the House can do nothing that THE SENATE won’t sign off on (that is to say, “pass without alteration”) *and* the executive won’t sign. Since the GOP has taken control of the Senate, there’s a foot-high stack of bills on McConnell’s desk that will never come up for discussion, much less a vote: Democrats have no power to do much at all without Senate consent and your boyfriend’s impressively illegible signature.

As for hating families and small businesses, that’s the GOP’s bag: or did you miss all the HUGE tax-cuts for wealthy people and big businesses, the many enormous corporate bailouts that left employees with nothing, stripped families of their homes, forced families into bankruptcy and small businesses to suffer harder by increasIng their risks and exposIng themselves and their employees in a futile effort to grab business in the time of staying home?

Even if you’re dumb enough to imagine that any of that was the dem plan and not the plan of the GOP which has DOMINATED the federal government since shortly after Obama started the job, there’s still no chance for the Dems to HAVE DONE IT given the way our gov is structured.

If anyone “hates families and small businesses” it’s the party that keeps taking money from families and small business and transferring it to their donors - and laying the expense for it on...families and small businesses.
