Thats the problem with the electoral system.
It all goes to a few voting districts in swing states. Certain voters are statistically identified as being the ones easiest to manipulate. These weak minded fools make the choice for the whole country.
If the Democrats lose they will have all the independents, socialists, anarchists and other free thinkers to blame among others. I am pretty sure all the people identify as Democrats are going to vote. Pretty sure the anti shithead crowd will vote. It will be a matter of getting everyone else to vote.
My kids have a bunch of first time voters as friends. They all see the scum in office for what he is without any help. They are also frustrated having to vote for an alternative idiot.

It is apparent that the Electoral College system will not be dissolved.
There is a way to fix it and it's relatively easy. No more of the public voting where the Electoral College goes completely to the majority vote. That system does nothing but throw away the votes of the minority in that state.
It's time to change it to where the Electoral College votes with the same percentage as the amount of votes per party in each and every state. It's the only way we can say every vote counts.

Battleground states are just states that are mostly split between Democrats and Republicans. If California was split it would be a major battleground state but it's not. You still get a pretty decent amount of electoral college points that you couldn't win without so your vote does count.
Who thinks thats fair. The EC is total BS.

As it stands right now only 2 states split Electoral College votes, Nebraska and Maine. All the rest award all EC votes to the winner of the popular vote, which in effect make small states EC votes count more than large heavily populated states.
If all states split the EC votes as to the same percentage as the popular vote then basically all votes count.
