Glad you liked it! We'll have to catch up next year. Like I said, it'll take a bit of time to get used to smoking with other people as we're normally on our own.
Hope no one was offended by us not talking to them, it wasn't intentional and we wheren't wanting to be rude, we just take time to warm up to the situation :wink: And we're constantly worrying about smoking too much and falling of the chair like that one chap

I would have talked to everyone as much as possible, but my missus doesn't speak english, and she's not as crazy about weed as us, so going for a happy medium of taking time out for her, and talking to others was the best bet.

I'll bring her dad next year he's a proper stoner like us

Wow I envy everyone who got to attend 4/20. Sounds like you all had a great time! My wife and I are planning a trip to Europe in a couple years, and Amsterdam will most assuredly be one of the stops. Maybe I can conveniently time the trip around 4/20....

Not 100% sure if MOD's M.O.D. were part of them, but MOD left thousands of seeds for folks at the SB....what a great guy.....oldpink was literally handing out multiple packs to folks.....truely amazing.....

Unfortunately and fortunately, I gave mine away prior to leaving Amsterdam.

oldpink gave me quite a few, which I really appreciated, but I had a wierd feeling before leaving....

oldpink....remember our long conversation about Customs...etc..etc..etc...on Sunday before you left? I recall you explaining how customs in your neck of the woods would react to personal amounts if they find it.....well, US Customs does NOT work that way.....haha....

Well, US Customs worked me over good when I arrived in San Francisco....it felt like they were waiting for me. As soon as I grabbed my bag from baggage claim they were on me.....of course we exchanged the usual niceties prior to getting STRIPPED SEARCHED!!!!

Not completely naked, but damn near close.......

Fortunate for me....an angel on my shoulder told me to take NOTHING with me into the US...NOTHING.....so that is what I did....went through my stuff with a fine tooth comb to make sure prior to departure.

If it wasn't for the stripping part it would not have bothered me much at all...I knew I was clean...and almost got a kick out of it.....I have to admit there was a very small piece of me questioning if I got everything out....I did.

First thing he found in my wallet was my Medical Marijuana Card from CA.....he was not impressed. Started asking me bunches of questions about how much I smoke...how often I smoke...etc..etc..etc....then he had the balls to ask me what medical reason I used...with a smirk on his face no less...I asked him if it was part of his job to inquire about the medical history of US citizens upon their return to the US....with the smirk still on his face he said.."no, you dont have to tell me, but it could delay your search".......can you believe this guy.....well, at that point I had had enough and decided to stop playing nice myself.....

I was less that cordial with him after that which I'm sure is what led to the strip search....

He started in on how much BS "medical marijuana" was...etc..etc...typical gistapo crap.....about how stupid people get when they smoke "that crap"....blah blah blah.......at that point I asked him what his education level was.....he got all defensive and told me "HE" was the one asking the questions......I said, sure, guess we know who the stupid one is now dont we.....

We went back and forth for a bit longer until he called in a Supervisor of some sort to get an approval for the strip search I think...or maybe it was the K9...not sure.....maybe both.....

With all of my stuff on the floor they brought in this large German Shepperd....he instantly alerted on my clothes....haha.......

So here we go again.....this bastard of a Customs agent was sure he just missed something and I had done a good job of hiding it.....so back through my stuff he went...for another half hour.....he was so frustrated he couldn't find anything that I actually did get worried he may plant something...seriously....

As he finally finished and I was putting my stuff back in my bags I asked him what would have happened if I had even a little bit with me.....he said he would have taken me right to Federal lockup..Felony Charge......I asked "even one seed"?...to which he replied...."even one seed"!!!...then he goes on to tell me that my little medical card would not have helped me if he had found anything.....

As I was walking out the last door to freedom they told me to have a nice day....I told them to have a nice life.....

So, I'm glad I didn't try to bring those beans back with me.....if I really wanted to I could have sent them from the Dam via mail...but my brain was so fried from the week I just gave them to a fellow 420 patron.....glad I did.

Yeah customs guys suck but Im used to it by now, they always pull me to the side for a quick search but this time they were quite ok and they even told me that its legal/tolerated to bring seeds to Finland, as long as you dont carry kilos of them everyday...

Greetz from amsterdam! You may or may not remember me but i'm the fella who was hanging at the shoppe all week, Timo is my name. I was supposed to meet other Finns at the shop but Farmer john was the only country mate that showed up. how's finland? I'll be there next week for a vacation myself.

It was great to meet everybody there and listen to some great stories you guys had. Not forgetting the great weed and hash I had the pleasure of smoking. I'll be certainly browsing the forum frequently from now on; can't wait until next year 420
