Rescued eagle, who lost a wing, flies again. True story.
Had lunch in Paia and this guy had a parrot with clipped wings. He got on his bike and perched the parrot on the handle bars and started to ride off. As soon as he started moving the parrot stretched out his wings as if he was flying again. It was pretty funny, kind of like one of those “Ahh” moments.
