The return of Cyclamen/broad/borg mites

Hello everyone. Once again i got problems with mites. They seem to keep on returning to my garden. Actually i was convinced they were gone, since i didnt see them almost for two weeks. I bought this sulfur vaporizer, and vaporized it almost everyday. But in the end they didnt care, and now they are infected once again (it was propably the avid application keeping them away for some time)

I have read almost every post on this site how to eradicate them. A lot of them telling me to buy forbid and use avid every second time. But i guess forbid is a little too expensive for me.

I would like to hear from someone who actually eradicated these bitches, without burning the room down. And could be really nice if its something not as procey as pylon or forbid.

I got like two weeks left, before they are gonna be switched to flower, so i guess its now or never to save these ones.

- And yes. The mites is the invisible ones. Never seen them, only the eggs which is round and milky

You can try predator mites, if you can not shutdown for awhile. I just took 3 months off.I have not seen any in months. Was down to one clone and dunked it every day for weeks and luckily had 1000's of tiny spiders in the veg area. In empty rooms can use bug bombs and no pest strips, but read precautions. Also UVC treatment, which is dangerous to eyes and skin. Pretty much kills all. Once a plant is over a foot or two almost impossible to get all mites hiding on bottom of leaves. I also started using Venerate which does not kill adult mites but prevents young from molting to crush to death. In hot weather the eggs hatch in 3-5 days. If brought in from yard, should be pretty easy. The big problem/borg is from warehouse grows that have tried everything and the strongest and most immune reproduce in about a week. That is big danger from lousy clone vendors ther than HLVD and systemic mold infections.

Get a usb microscope, to try and identify. These I got from Ben's on chemdawg #4. Clear circles are new eggs which get darker closer to hatching. Black specs are turds. 2 spot spider mites from hell -

Do no pest strips wipe out broad mites?
I would only wish i had the two spotted mites. This is a whole different kind of thing to deal with. They return again and again

Avid just plain works on them..and only once
Avid works really well. But i need some other solution than avid, since they will become resistant.

I applied avid three times now, and they return everytime.

I would be really thankfull if someone could explain exactly how they managed to get rid of them, step by step. - Without buying expensive products like pylon and forbid..

Some say sulfur, but i burned sulfur, and still they come back

No pest strips will 100% take out russets. Not positive about broad mites but worth a shot. If going nuclear I prefer the vapor of a no pest strip over a liquid spray.

I think its not russets. Its the kind of bug which dig into the leaves or something like that. Never seen any, even with microscope ×100. Only thing i see is these small eggs, so its pretty hard to diagnose the plant and how to treat it. The most succesfull treatment undtil now is avid.

- So i guess, if i have to wipe them out, i should find something similar and applicate it one week after avid. I just have to know which one people in here would suggest, to make a ggod compagnon with the avid.. Maybe something wiping out the eggs also..

Anyone tried Sanmite?

I know thats the only insecticide i could have tomorrow. Otherwise i have to wait a couple of weeks

Pylon is made for 3000 square foot greenhouse if I remember correct. If you use neem, 3 hours after mixing it with water and it starts to deteriorate, and completely broken down by 4 days. Make sure what you use is safe on cannabis or tobacco since certain chemicals safe to ingest turn to long lasting poisons when burned.
Already tried neem. Does nothing.
Cant get Pylon

Your machine is throwing metal shavings all over the floor and you're busy trying to keep them all swept up. Fix the machine first and you'll thank yourself.

Locate where they're coming from first. Visitors? Your yard? Places you're visiting? Clones? Soil? They're coming from somewhere...

I think they came from my clothe when i was walking in the woods. So yes i always keep my clothe clean from now on when i enter my garden 😀..

I THINK i need some kind of ovacide killing the eggs, since i think the avid will wipe out the adults for the next couple weeks. Im in a country where im not able to get other miticides than avid and sanmite. Is there some kind of oil which kills the eggs?

Your plants aren't showing any visible mite damage. Do your mite eggs look like this?

If so, those are trichomes.
If you take a closer look at picture number two, the first gnarling, twisted growth already showed on one of them.
The others stopped growing and looks like the typical calcium/magnesium deficiency. Its typical the sign just before they gow after the new growth.
I had em in the last run aswell, where my pllants looked a lot worse. Hopefully i can bring them to flower this time, not getting totally destroyed first 🤞

- But yes. The eggs look similar to your picture

Then they're not eggs, they're trichomes. You're chasing a ghost.
