No grow diaries from me sorry Med Man, cannabis very much illegal in my country. I rarely take photos.
My Acapulco looked very similar to yours #177. The smoke was good, nothing exceptional but I did like the smell and effect, different from the usual of current trends.
My HK I’ve had rolling along for about 5 generations now. Again nothing special, good all round plant and stone. 2 phenos; pink pistils and one where the pistils rapidly went to orange/brown. I’ve found it’s a great male to breed with. Females develop large flowers, fluffy by today’s standards, but total mould resistance.
My AGxHK cross brought out a lot of sativa traits, along with pungent resinous flowers, longer flowering. The pink pistils remained. A friend described it as a Mexican hash plant.
My overall impression was the combination was vastly better than the parents, hybrid vigour was exceptional in growth, size and resin production. Our season is just about to start so I’ll endeavour to take some photos this season.
Understandable

I really appreciate the in depth descriptions!

I'm really looking forward to the crosses I made this year and the other seeds I still have to pop

My wife told me today to set up my indoor with all my crosses, gifts and purchases lol

Here's another mexican from guerrero

It was a mutant but I planted it anyway. It split into 2 phenos. 1 green branch that looks and smells similar to the acapulco....the other original branch more like a feral landrace. Both branches even smell different

Really trippy shit...

The video is way better then the pics:

I mean.. 48 hours is two days, plus 4 weeks then 6 weeks is 10 weeks 2 days. Not 13 weeks but hey splitting hairs here.

What is shock flowering if I dare ask?
Advanced crop steering counts hours of darkness. That's what the med-man method is all about....minimum input, maximum output.

Chronological time and flowering time are 2 different things.

My full shock doctrine is here: the med-man method aka the good stress technique:

48 hours of shock flowering is the equivalent of of 4 12/12 days. Makes a massive difference

Started processing the narco gold today (peru)

Needs a day or more of sweating still. Didn't realize until I dug in

Lime skunk fuel and a bit of woodyness hiding in the bottom if you can catch it

Nothing beats working with single source landrace sativas that you collected yourself from its place of origin

If I ever remade a milli vanilli song it would be called "waiting on the strain"

Kerala pheno. Most the Kerala is gone from the smell and it's all "hindu kush" now. Looks like swami used some of nevils work in this one

Hoping the plant and the beaners are done in a week or so

Oh

My

God

A thread dedicated to 90's-2000's ROADKILL SKUNK?
This is the weed that truly mesmerized me, even after some years of smoking, when I was in early high school. I would do ANYTHING to get this stuff back. Much like has been mentioned here, I'd gone down this rabbit hole before I started growing, and am under the impression that the FBI destroyed it and it will likely never come back

A few breeders claim to have access to the OG mother -- mostly a guy by the name of "The Nature Farm" on Instagram

Have never heard of any success from the beans, sadly.

After a 2 year respite from growing and breeding. After June 1 I will be continuing my road-kill breeding project.

Here is a sample of one of my seed lines. Front end is a bit sweet. But the back door is all road-kill. Especially once the sweet oxidized if the jar or bag is left open.

Stay tuned for the progress. It's still going to take some time. View attachment 18110226
This pic bears SOME similarities but certainly not all of it, from my memory, it was much more lime green, less dense, and so sticky you could quite literally press it to the wall with your thumb and it'd stay there forever

The true test is the ziploc test. It could be inside 5 ziplocs and still dank the entire place out without wanting to!

Opening your jacket with this stuff in your pocket back in the day was insane
