The real deal on flushing

i have a few issues with flushing here. First of all the water were i live has a PH of 8, so i needs adjustment by a ph buffer or vinigar. second I use molassas, and third i have a bottle of Flora Kleen (same as final flush). so i i want to start flushing on day 50 of flowering how should i do this? molassas till the last day? do Ph buffers or Flora Kleen effect flavors? should i just use my high ph water without a buffer and molassas and flora kleen the first week of flush? you get the idea. there are a lot of ways to do it. but mainly i want to konw if any of those things (molassas, Flora Kleen, Ph buffers) will effect flavor. and i want to konw more about how this high ph will effect my final product if i dont ph buffer it.
thanks

For my final flushsing I dont worry about it. My water is a tad high too but ur not tryin to PH balance the nutes for uptake. I flush to rinse the soil of all nutes then let the plant use its own stored up nutes for the last 2 weeks. I'll usually feed just water for the 1st of the 2 weeks then with 7 days to go I pour atleast 3 times the amount of water that the container is through the plant and let it be for the last week. Let it get bone dry and chop after 48 hours of darnkness. You can wait even longer when using a flushing addative like flora kleen or in my case clear-ex. I like the natural water method better even if more time consuming. the natural colors that a heavy flush 2 weeks to harvest can really be inspiring and I like the taste better when the plant is given time to leach itself of any salts and nuts. Oh and when I need to PH water but dont wanna use vinegar or crap like that try hygrozyme. Its great for the ladies and it just a little acidic so it balances the water out perfect if you start near 8. about 10 mls for a gallon and it'll be around 6.5 :rasta: . And like I said its amazing stuff and I promise it will up ur yield and growth rate.

your asking a broad question, there are 2 diferent camps of thinking the way i see it.

'flush solution + water' and the 'sugar(molassis, sweet, sweetleaf etc) + water' thinkings.

either way that tap water is going to destroy thoes plants just as there finisheing. i use RO water to leach the nutrients out of thew soil. TAP will put more into it then u want. how all this will play out, im not too sure, probably wont make much dif the way im looking at it. although thats a beutiful crop. did you get a radioshack microscope yet? the leafs look fairly sativa and im thinking thety might get bigger then that for you. as far as the flush is concerned. go with your insicts or what u want to 'experement with' first. i think ull try them both[methods] at some point.

i havent seen much differance with the flush solution other then my leafs turn yellow/red/purple more faster then when i use flavorwater (atami bio-flavor, carbload)
just my 2 cents. but u seam to have a good grow sofar so i have a feeling itll be ok either way. people say the buds get fatter at the end with sugarwater TBH i havent seen much differance from flush/water, sugar/water, water/water, gravity(humboldts)/water.

best of luck.

if he uses tap water it will instantly kill all the enzymes inside hygrozyme, aswell as any form of beneficial bacteria/fungi and also yeasts such as organic B forms, and will also impact humic acids affect and neutralize organic compounds such as teas, and seaweed extracts.

if u must use tap let it sit in a 5 gal bucket for 24+/- hours, less if u bubble it with a airstone(fish tank stuff)

hey! Well I was just at my hydro place and I was talking about ph and how to get it in check. I was givin a product from SUPERNATURAL. It is call super leach and it is for all aspects of growth, flowering, and final flush. Very easy to use. Will not affect you soils natural ph/ micro orgonisums, as well as it can be used with any fert line and not affect them. Very safe for plants and is a qick way to bring your water ph down too. If I were you I would do some more HW on the subject. Straight water alone at flushing can casue tons of probs as well espescaly if you have ph of 8 (thats some shitty water)..

I always bubble my tap water for atleast 48 hours. I just figured he does too......my bad. Just didn't cover all the teeny weenys cuz his pics look like he's knows what he's doing. As long as you bubble the hygo is FINE. Not everyone has a RO machine and seem to do ok.

I believe all those final flush products are just a gimmick. Proper care and flusing during the life cycle will never warrant the need for one. Esp if ur all orgainic and want those microbes and goodies to stay put till the end. Any mixture of sugar/water,molasses/water, water/water will do fine(granted ur not a moron just reading this to pick apart for all the minor specifics). B4 these products existed there was still good burning sweet pot. :joint: I bought clearex and saw no added benefits so its water and sugar for me. Results are fine. Even if I do the dreaded 8 ph flush the last week lol. I like to see if someone could blindly tell the differece between my bud flushed with clearex or water/sugar. I know i couldn't so I stopped spending money on shit that occurrs naturally eazy.......water./sugar Crappy water or not lol :bashhead:

And like said b4 those look a little hybridy slash sativay so I'd really check b4 flushing right now. But its ur shit and it looks great so do what you will. Sure it will turn out great. :headbange
