Hehe, little purple nuggets, or giant green nuggets? I think i'd still go for the best of both worlds.

Did you tie down the power plant or trim any of the lower fan leaves? That could help a bit with space/yield ratio.

PondeLHS - that spring flower smell is exactly how it smells. I always tell people that it smells like my grandmothers house in the spring when I was a youngster. Glad someone else feels the same way. Do you know what flower it actually smells like? I'd love to plant some outside the house.

Any reason it's not Purple like the Purps Centerfold on my wall??? I don't know I see know point in growing a puple strain and clipping it while it's still green... The Purps has the potential to be completely purple why let it be green?

It'll purple up if it gets chilled nights. But it's summer now, so that's not practical. I personally wouldn't pay for all that air conditioning just for purpling. Green Purps turns a mild lavender hue after a few weeks curing. The purpling doesn't make one bit of difference in the finished quality in any other way aside from the visual aspect. But there's always a slight purple/lavender hue, no matter how green it is.

Aside from the color, the Purps is the most dense marijuana I've ever seen or grown, period. When grown hydroponically it's nearly impossible to smoke without a grinder, and the flowers are packed with so much fucking resin! And if grown and cured well, it makes the best smelling and tasting hashish you'll ever try.

Also, I've harvested this strain as early as 6 weeks and as late as 10 weeks, and it's fucking great no matter when it comes down. In fact, I like ilt a little on the earlier side (53-60 days), I find it lends the Purps a wonderful euphoric/psychedelic tendency that gets lost in the relaxing tendencies that really come out after 8 weeks or so. 10 week Purps will fucking end my day after one hit.

Don't believe the purple hype, bro... that's what drives people to grow boring, one-dimensional purplers and lace their schwag with Kool-Aid. Some of the absolute best pot I ever smoked in my entire life was some awful looking golden brown Mexican brickweed - gave up the most intense, long lasting psychedelic high. And some of the most boring shit I've ever had was the really pretty and stinky stuff from the club that "everyone's been buying". Here's a crude but very apt analogy... very few of the more outwardly beautiful women I've been with over the years knew how to fuck worth a damn. It's always the last ones you'd expect who really know how to get the dirty job done...
