Went out of town for work. Listen to nutter 97 to start the trip. Holy hell that is a killer show. I'd love to go back and relive some 97 cowfunk shows. Didn't realize how good I had it back then. I m about to break the century mark. In the low 90s right now

Nutter is a serious show. I did most of that tour solo and its you mentioned the 100 mark deal bc Dayton was my C-note. What a time! I remember this elder dude was jonesing for nugs and I had some Chem91 so I puffed with him pre show and threw him half of what I had brought to the venue(i brought 4g ir so. As we were wishing each other a good show he pulled a Mean Joe Green in me ala The old Coke commercial and said "hey kid". I turned and he tossed me a corner of a baggy tied in a knot and upon further investigation I knew exactly what it was.....Dots! There were 37 in that baggy that lasted me all the way to Landover(I shared) where I reupped for the MSG run at my hotel in DC. What a tour! Those were the days for sure! 11-22-97 will be forever engrained in my brain like an Iso file(i was Page Side 6 rows in). 178 shows and Fall 97 (for me) was my favorite but I should also say I'm partial to the Cowfunk Phish vs Machine gun Trey Phish of 92-95. With that said I cant wait for this Summer! Ill be doing a decent amount of shows and moving back to VT.

thats a great story. way to have nutter 97 fall on your hundun show occasion. excellent timing on your part.

micro dots are old school, never know what you're going to fall into when touring and seeing so many shows. you made thier night and they made yours! cowfunk is where its at. even rockstar 99 is overlooked imho

No man I don't post on PT anymore. I lurk maybe once/month but for me its not the same PT as when I popped my cherry with 10 years or so ago. The easily had "readily available" information has made everyone a "Phish Pro" over there and when a kid who has never seen Phish 1.0 and decides he is going to write a review based upon what he has listened to (for me) its time to hang it up. Not saying its a bad thing but (for me) its not how I want to burn 2 hrs. There are still real deal Holyfield heads over there but email, texting, and calling never felt so right.....lol.

Yes Dayton was a great timing deal although I wouldn't complain getting any of the Fall 97 shows as my 100th.

Man I puffed some OK stuff the other day and it had me spinning. 2 years without puffing will surely put a man in his place. Longest stretch I ever went while dormant. Not even a hit, drag, puff, and toke has been had. After a week of wake and bake and being "back in black" should get me somewhat back to the power puffer I was days of old.

I have some of the real GG (originally gifted by the man himself back in 2008/2009ish) heading this way in puff-able form as its 1 of 5 strains I had passed to a close friend to keep going while I did my thing here in Sunnyland USA.
Man I can smell that spicy sweet before and the exhale dreaminess of her now. Being a head high Ill really be "back in black". There is no mistaking the GG when walking into a room 5 mins after the fact. The ISS comes as close as it gets for me but thats obvious why that is.

Anyway pumped for Summer!!!

hey yall... old head here, some of you may remember me from the forums years ago.

Stoked to be seeing phish this year. My last shows were hampton 2009, had some legal issues right after that and I just kind of flaked on phish. For sure hitting deer creek and colorado. May try to squeeze alpine and some other regional shows in, Im in the north now.

I doubt trey brings the heat this summer. Its a different band now days. For me its more about raging with friends than the music. It is total dad rock now.
