The origins of the grape terpenes in cannabis

Methyl anthranilate - I doubt that whatever reason plants are purple or not has anything to do with whether it's part of the fragrance profile.

I was gifted a bunch of Grape Ape X Bubblegum seeds 7 years back, along with Purple Louie x Bubblegum. Doesn't get much better then that. Here's a picture of a Bubblegum dominate pheno.

And one that comes on more grape.

Every year I try to talk myself out of growing it, try something else. Every year I end up growing it and it kicks ass.

Are there many sativas with the grape compound?

The most sativa with the grape terpenes is Grape Stomper but it's only 40% sativa.
