What a mess. I will trade you…for the Japanese Beetles we have hereThey stick in my golden doodles hair like Velcro. They cover our deck in minutes after blowing it off. I think maybe the seeds come later as it drops red hard berries in the fall. They look like this now tho.

It may not be an oak tree. We get those long noodles too. This one drops shovels full of these berries on our porch in the fall. I collected some last year well just because I like stuff in a jarOak noodles?
We got Poplar noodles that holds the seeds, what's the oak ones do.
Haven't seen those
There are more problems than just mold. The information I provided above was regarding something edible to be ingested orally, not smoke that is inhaled. Therein lies the foremost problem with the fungus in question: inhaling it into your lungs. By heating the hemp up, prior to oral ingestion, the spores are killed (at 250 degrees). I provided research articles and specific information.

Does it kill pesticides as well?
Modern Canna Laboratories in Florida tested 111 hemp samples ( 30 extracts, 28 edibles, 53 flower ) from various smoke shops.
49 / 111 (44%) - samples failed for pesticides

I might have to do a bit of research into that question and see where it takes me. Interesting.Just a guess on my part here....
If you pull a dandelion flower and set it on a shelf it will continue 'living' until it goes to seed.
Same thing with wheat. Also why they use Roundup on wheat - they kill it so it goes to seed to meet harvest schedules.
Some say Cilliac's disease, or wheat intolerance is caused because of the Roundup remaining on the wheat.
I wonder if the same 'development' is going on here??
not to mention herbicides and fungicides…
it’s a roll of the dice but my gut feeling says the amounts are so small , no harm no foul
besides , I am an old fucker and a little poison ain’t gonna kill me
So sorry staind. What a terrible thing to happen.Morning
I'm done with having dogs. Just had to put down Tuffman. He was poisoned by hard dog food. He just ate a few pieces of it. The other dogs won't even touch it. We have the hard food just to let the dogs nibble on it between their chicken and rice we make. Been using purina puppy chow for years. It was a new bag and Tuffman was the first to eat any of it. As far as we can tell there is no recalls for it. We will be reporting it and look into having it tested.
I'm so angry and sad at the same time.
