Evening folks! Sunny and 70's today. Without the pollen it would have been perfect...well that SSL issue was a pain in the ass.

Still have some chores to do, shrimp for dinner.

peace

Suck the life out of you if they get the chance and they seem to have a lot of chances.

Are you second guessing yourself about your change of heart with the pup?

Or your moving on from that idea and getting a miniature donkey:)
no sir, I came to the understanding that at my age and condition Ivan is all I need to keep me company and laughing...he's on the same frequency with myself and I can't see another animal getting between us...he's lovable and protective and after thinking with my mind and not with my heart I can't allow him to be a jealous dog...Dutch was a very special beast and would go with the flow but Ivan is possessive of me and I don't see him accepting a back seat..a puppy needs a lot of attention and I'm sure Ivan would be upset with a changing of the guard...besides, Ivan fills my heart with love and joy and considering a pup may change that in his eyes isn't a chance I am willing to take...besides, he's aggressive with all other animals but not with humans...he's learned that he can't eat hogs but that doesn't stop him from waiting for an ear to stick thru the fencing...he stalks them when I am feeding them...

Kind of like the IRS in this country…
Shouldn't be as much of a problem, they are laying off thousands of employees, many of them front-line auditors AND a lot of Federal workers haven't/won't file. This would be a good time to roll the dice. 'I'm sorry, it was a mistake. Please let me pay the tax and write off the penalties' is a good excuse.

thank you for the Kind words!..

work , how did you know?..

back in January there was a cold spell here -40-60 below zero and
we have a busted waterline…

bad part is it flooded the bathroom and I will have to replace the floor

here’s the kicker:

in plenty of time like 2 weeks notice , we put in a change of address before we left

it never went through

consequently we didn’t get our electric bill in time , $32 dollars😂 , and we ended up being 5 days late

fukin elect company turned off our electricity

freezer full of beef and food , gone

same with fridgerator/freezer

blood all over the pantry floors , linoleum will need replaced , maybe floor if blood saturated it..

so I have been running around all morning , got electric back on , got freezer out of house , cleaned out fridge

now I am getting ready to assault the broken water lines , under the house in a 3 foot crawl space…

dive! dive! dive!….
Dang! That really sucks

I got one too

but it was for January

I didn’t know cause I was in Washington and no mail

I wonder since i didn’t show up if there is an arrest warrant out for me?
Gotta love the post office!

I remember a story of a Mom commenting on how her doberman would be outside watching her 2 girls on the swing on alert ,paying attention ,watching.
But when her husband was out there with all of them the pup acted like a a goof ball given the day off.
They know.

This is so true and I think @Boo might be looking at Ivan's instinct to protect a wounded/sick member of his pack as potential aggression towards a new pup.

I've seen this behavior in all my dogs after my wife's surgeries.

Last time we were at the shelter where we got Timber a dog caught my eye and I asked about him.

An older couple had him and he was a great dog for years, they adored him. Then one day he would not let the wife go near the husband and they could not get him to change his behavior.

Turned out the old man had cancer and the dog detected before he was diagnosed and that's why he wouldn't let the wife near her husband. He was protecting his pack leader. However she could not care for her husband so they had to surrender their dog.

All that you said makes perfect sense to me, I believe I understand what your getting at. Like I said the other day, you and Ivan area team of two. To put that bond at risk is not something you want to do lightly.

When I raised my last cat from a kitten, I was taken back by all the work of making the cat accustomed to our home. It was like raising a child. I can't imagine raising a pup would be any different, you would be spending more time with the pup in training and less time with your buddy Ivan. Who might take it as an unwelcome intrusion, if that was the case, your work in trying to iron out all the wrinkles might be a bit much.
Bringing a young new animal into your home and making it home friendly takes effort, time and patience

At least you have come to a conclusion and can move on from it with confidence your doing the right thing.

OH, when a joint gets slobber all over it, leaving it soggy and disgusting...yuk
Thank goodness I don't share joints any longer.

Speaking of fish, did you have any fish & chips while gone?

If so what was the cost...here it is one arm for cod and 2 arms for halibut and if you get 2 pieces throw in a leg
I share a Marley with Mr sub but he don’t niggerlip it. Not a racial thing just a word we use to use when someone wraps their whole mouth around the joint being passed around.

I'm assuming Muslims will still be able to carry swords by religious exemption
Sikhs have to:
  • Wear the Sikh undergarment for modesty and health
  • Wear a wooden comb in the turban to keep hair clean and untangled
  • Wear a steel wristlet as a sign of faith
  • Wear hair uncut, to honor the creator’s intention
  • Wear a small sword symbolic of defending the religious rights of all faiths

Oh my, that would be terrible to have someone you smoke with daily to gob all over the joint. In my old group of friends there was one fellow, after a toke he would pass on a wet joint, I made a comment to him one day about it and he got his knickers in a knot.

I knew he didn't like certain kinds of sounds, so I hung several small bells from my mirror in the truck. He did not like it as we would drive in the same vehicle on a regular basis. I more or less suggested to him our joint smoking problem if fixed would end the bells in the truck. I still have the bells and keep them on my cloths closet, they did their job.

Hello Sub:)
