Getting a dog is certainly a very personal thing. Not like you can acquire one and ignore the fact that it is its own independent living being. I would like to get a small dog myself, for in home alert, and for guarding, as much as anything else. But due to annual travel and planned extensive future travel it is very difficult to go though with the process, knowing I don't have a good place to keep one while gone. And could in no manner take it with me. That, and the fact that ms cola does not favor pets. Never talked to her about a cat, but she has told me that unequivocally she views dogs as "dirty". I have no idea why, and am knowing enough not to question this belief on her part. I live in a two person home, so the humans in it take precedence above all else. So that basically nixes that. Really too bad but I need to be fair to a prospective pet and my sig other. Life comes with choices. Yup.

I worked on a ladies house who had a small dog and full blown custom dog bath and grooming station in her garage.
Every single time the dog went outside for any reason she washed the dog.

Maybe if I did that ms cola would reconsider and acquiesce by allowing me to get a Jack Russell.pup. The question is would the poor animal survive this consistent bastardization of the breed. They rooted out foxes for Gods sake

Well, I've caught up with everybody. We are a talkative lot. Good, interesting folks all.
Went over the "terrible loss" of Doober... I woulda made a lousy doctor. <-- Even though Dr. Scooter told me about Doob's medical/mental condition (eg: I fergot the medical term that I actually typed here identifying his mental illness) I still found him impossibly immature and annoying. That is a failure on my part. Sorta.
This long day/night/day event is a first: I did not even go to bed last night. Witchie-Poo was a saint; tried to stay with up me to help me get through the owies, but I made her lay down around midnight. She is sleeping now.
Shitdamnhell. It is not like the movies. Where the hero shakes off the effects of flying metal lumps by the end of the day and they never are heard of again.
I just reread the above. I sound like a pussy.

One more day after today in the quarry. This has been just an incredibly busy week.
So much so I wish it was Friday. I don't usually say that. No weekend work this time
Hope your morning is looking up. We are back to cooler weather for just a few days.
Here it is hard to look that far out though. The ocean brings what it wants us to see.
Wishing each and every one of you, a pleasant morning, wonderful day, and outstanding evening.
I am currently pretty tied up with projects and work, so wanted to start with a daily check in hello.
Today is Thursday, and one day closer to the weekend on Friday. Will be glad for the break. TGIT!!
