I have a buddy of mine who is a good guy but tough in general.
He can definatly shoot whatever comes at him with a plethora of armaments and be able to not only bury you at two different depths ,will actually join the search party lookin for you after.
Has 2 boys ,both call me Uncle Joe
He pushed his boys and gave a forward amount of pressure doing so .
His Mr's is simply the best as a Mother and putting up with Spetzal (her husband)
His oldest son got all his student loans by himself became a dr and now a board certified dr. .
His brother got into Local 25 electricians union.
Because of working with and getting yelled at with his father he knew how to work.
He is 4 years in and is highly coveted by his shop.
He can work , and teachable.
Old timers love him and teach him.
He is working with guys who will soon work under him.
My advice to him was keep off the phone ,carry a sharpie and a tape and a tape measure and be present mentally when you are there.
Being on the ball and a wolf among the sheep puts you ahead of the herd.
In some ways its easier now to have your shit together in the sea of flounders that exist to excel.

Funny my buddy just called me.he uses me as his technical advisor.
He does commercial kitchen repair for schools and the university.

I don't know if you're trolling (T.O.U. violation) now or just fooling around. I also see that they're several active posters in this thread that doesn't seem to like your presence here.
I don't want to escalate this here again, so I suggest you be careful about what you post or how you interact with people in this thread.
Maybe an idea to find another thread to hang out at?
My style is patient moderating and I work with a step based moderation style based on the level of the incident.
First I delete posts
Second I delete posts and post a public warning/reminder regarding the T.O.U
Third you'll receive a warning from the Warn system
4th I start handing out (temp) reply/full forum bans.
5th perm ban
See this post as a little warning and a reminder to the T.O.U. Don't step up my game. Every member is in control of the moderation happening to him himself. You get in trouble because you did something wrong.
Ps: to everyone, please use the Report button if you notice T.O.U. violations or when someone is out of line. It's hard to differentiate between fooling around and getting trolled.
