yeah its tourist spot there now it was suppose to be where the '69 show originally was but had problems switched to bethel ny on yasgurs farm they just kept the name. yrs back went down to bethel for a furthur show same land new venue meeting up with friends outta state they texted said couldnt find it they gps'd woodstock told em wrong town they happy bout it its hour n half away missed the some of the showI partially grew up near Schenectady and Summers we would drive the hour or whatever to Woodstock. Went dozen times. Was cool as a pot-smoking teen. Headshops. Stores to buy tshirts... Jimi Hendrix, The Doors, Led Zeppelin was what I was listening to from 13-17. Me and Dad and my stepmother used to go to Woodstock. Everyone liked Hendrix and Bob Dylan and stuff and we had a good day walking around and shopping. Might have been an early spot to get Ben & Jerry's ice cream on a hot Summer day. There's a burrito place I enjoyed. I recommend going to Woodstock.
