In my old age not many things seem constant. When my health issues piled up back about 15 years ago I lost quite a bit of weight and my height I've never been able to reclaim that 35+lbs.. Food is one of the last daily enjoyments I have, I like when I'm on point and food taste good.Good day old man, I hope everything in your life is going as planned. I’ve seen on some of your posts that you’re eating quite well, good for you…![]()
I have and he’s slowly getting better. He’s staying away for now so you don’t get any germsHas anybody heard from him? I am afraid to call -- he might be getting some desperately needed sleep and he does not need to hear phones going off.
I thought for sure you were going to offer me a fresh tomato todayI quit!!! Been outside doing spring chores. I got as much done as I wanted. For me it is a slow and steady process anymore. I started to run out of gas so I feel good about what I accomplished today.
Gonna chill the rest of the day.
Colo St plays later today......gotta gird up my loins for this one. Colo St is a 7 1/2 dog and it is gonna be tough.

I remember that your favorite tomato is the Cherokee Purple... I can't remember what I ate for supper last night but I remember your favorite tomato, go figure. I was talking tomatoes with another member this AM and copied this from a local tomato business website down the road.It might be a bit longer......I will plant seeds the middle of next month....check back with me around August 1st.
I haven't eaten a tomato in months....can't wait. Like marijuana I only smoke and eat my own. Unlike marijuana which I grow several strains with maters I have only grown one strain for years. Drifting 13 gifted me seeds over a decade ago.....Cherokee Purple

B careful old manTime to get the mandolin out and slice onions and potatoes for scalloped potatoes and ham for supper.
If I slice them now I won't have so much to do at supper.
We usually watch a movie on Sunday afternoons.
Time to get slicing and keep my fingers attached...them mandolins are very sharp.

When I was a boy growing up seems like every older man I knew had at least one finger missing. Both my grandpa and my uncle were missing fingers…..farmers.B careful old man
I have a set of Kevlar gloves that I wear with our mandolin. It allows you to get down close with the last slice without danger of cutting yourself.Time to get the mandolin out and slice onions and potatoes for scalloped potatoes and ham for supper.

My grandfather was a carpenter and was missing his right index finger. When I was a boy growing up seems like every older man I knew had at least one finger missing. Both my grandpa and my uncle were missing fingers…..farmers.
Funny that is the same finger both my grandpa and uncle lost.My grandfather was a carpenter and was missing his right index finger.
I'm thinking that the thumb would be the the toughest. Grandpa did well without his index finger.Thinking that and your thumb would be hardest fingers to lose
