I'm pretty sure the big eye has bigger fish to fry, but as kids it worked to get friends to buy our beer for us, so that might be another option.And will you pussanally guarantee you will make up for what happens to yer Unca when this eventually (inevitably**) gets back to The Big Eye?

I think in Florida like here in Virginia, you gotta have a prescription which is easy enough to get I think. You just pay the fee and tell them that you have a hitch in your getalong. I think you have to revisit a pay again every few months.

A doctor can write a presciption. Check on the web to see who does locally. It is not hard to find one. For sure.
With your new card go in and purchase. Not the one near your home if concerned. Park away. Wear a mask. Virtually impossible to positively id as such. Bring cash. Everyone here that ever procured any to take a puff took a risk. Getting up is so. That's the way it is. If you want something bad enough you must be clever enough to get it. I would vernture to make a qualified guess that many vets are doing the exact same thing as you. No one's getting prosecuted. Will you be the unlucky one? No way to tell, but roll the dice of life. You may have good luck. Like most.

That is correct. I could get a doctor to give me the Rx. I could go buy weed. But I fall in the bin holding those who were permanently hurt in service. It covers my expenses.
The VA would be happy to give me a card so I could go in any store and buy the place out. <-- I could have that card in mere days.
Unfortunately, there is fine print: They can and will confiscate all weapons (that would include my 18th Century katana over my fireplace) and conduct inspections of my home when/if they choose.
This was a trap that worked exceeding well for a while -- until the GI network got the message around with some examples of vets who walked naively into the deal.
I deeply appreciate all the kind effort and ideas you've tendered. But now you know they do not extend in any way at all to a dinged veteran.

It ain't prosecution, @cola -- I receive a check from Unca Sugar for getting clanked hard enough that it can't get fixed. But that check, cola... That is a lifetime punishing total $$ fine if I do what you say.
Mebbe it IS "prosecution"... or is that "persecution" of an unrepresented minority: Veterans on dinged-helmet stipend. They (through the arm of the VA) can take away all vets $$ compensation rights -- meager as mine is -- as US citizens regarding weed
You just need to”a guy” like the rest of the people that don’t grow. I’m sure there are growers that sell weed in your area. I would ask the garage door guy if he knew where you could pick up some weed like the old man said. You never know and it’s not illegal to ask (after the door is fixed and you have warmed him up a bit…)
