First thing, it's always nice when someone cooks for you. Same with my Mrs., steak is one of my Mrs. favorite meals. We find beef can be hard on our digestive systems.
I've never had German Goulash soup, people from this area seem to favor paprika in their cooking. Does you recipe have paprika?
I shell have to check out some recipes I have for it. I have 3 other soups in the planning stage now.

I think of how much smoother, dependable computers operate today than when getting my first one in the early 90s. My first wife worked in the U of Guelph computer lab(60s) , it was cold to be in that room and the computers spit out cards. This is an industry that seems to have gotten way ahead of itself pushing out a product that appears largely not totally ready, and at the same time trying to jam it down our throats. Though not in favor of all the EPA changes announced yesterday the one about cars mandates rings. The Venture Capitalists deserve to take the burn. I don't plan on buying a new car in my lifetime and hope that Ms cola will start using my 2nd car once her Doytota hybrid dies. I tried to get her not to buy it. The dual engine maintenance and repair is not simple or cheap. China is selling EV's now for 10K USD. This whole market looks ready to implode, and maybe rise again, as a better Phoenix.

Hell, I probably couldn't breathe at 9000', I think 5 or 6000' is the highest I've ever grown at. Is that big leafed variety grown at that altitude?

Is that right, can't say I have ever grown a clone outside, in 55 years of growing I have never tried a clone outdoors.
I was not aware of that feature in clones for outdoor growing.
I have watched later plantings catch up to earlier plantings in some cases.

I had a mechanic say to me once he didn't understand why they didn't use a wind powered generated system as the vehicle would generate it's own power when in motion.
I am not knowledgeable to know if this is accurate.

Living at 7,000 ft is easy. 9,000 O2 gets a bit thin, 10,000 it's much thinner, 14K and it's difficult to walk very far, but it can be done... slowly!Hell, I probably couldn't breathe at 9000', I think 5 or 6000' is the highest I've ever grown at. Is that big leafed variety grown at that altitude?

That's funny you mentioned that, I had to do a lot of upgrading at the community college before getting into college. During our Christmas party the students convinced our instructor to show us slides of his days in Africa, it was on one of those slides that him and his x-wife were naked under a waterfall. I think he knew the slide was in there.Looking forward to the pics.

Lets see, my furnace was not working this morning, I only have 1 load of laundry not 2 but still have to put clean bedding on. My back is soar. I have portable electric heaters going in 3 rooms, they freak me out as I watched one burst into flames one day.
All round it's a good day, at 11:00am it is 4.8C/40.64F overcast and dull.
