Lost a shitload of houses in north Pasadena as well as 5 confirmed dead.

It might be good when it works .
I need vascular sugery and had a vascular surgeon tell me he wouldnt operate until i quit using weed , even though its not recreational and its for medical reasons and i dont drink or smoke cigarettes either anymore.
I told him he doesnt have the right to blackmail me he has a doctors oath . Then he got all high and mighty and said its got nothing to do with the oath . And i said you have no right to refuse me service you can suggest what i should do its my fkn body . You wont be touching me with that attitude you can get fkd i will get someone else .
I put a formal complaint in against the doctor and the hospital stuck to its guns saying they wouldnt provide another doctor .
So i requested via email in writing why the vascular surgeon and this hospital is refusing me surgery .
3 days later i was told i would be allocated another surgeon .
Funny how they didnt want to put it in writting out of fear of litigation.

Choose carefully. The Veterans Admin covers my medical and Vascular at least what I needed was beyond what Tibor Rubin does. One of the wife's former coworkers now works for one of the top cardio surgeons in SoCal who referred me to the top endovascular man. I still took damage with my left leg suffering partial paralyses.
Pick a hospital and doctor that specializes in this and does 5 a day not 5 a month or year.
See what your local options are and consider travel for the best of the best.
This is a 1985 Honda CRX,it was available with a unique performance option.. You could order it with (2 ) 1.8 liter engines from the Accord, one drove the front wheels and one drove the back wheels. You would start one engine then push a toggle switch and the start the other one. With this option it did 143 mph. It smoked the 85 corvette at the time. If you chose to only use one engine it got around 60 mpg. It cost $6600 US new.

Broke my heart to sell my 1977 Civic CVCC with the swapped Accord engine. Was fun as hell on test and tune nights at Irwindale 1/8th mile drag strip. Car only weighed 1800 lbs. Smoke them 155x12s.

Good morning brothers and sisters! View attachment 19129140 View attachment 19129141

A gorgeous clear day here, starting at 38F and predicted to reach 50F.

Well shit, the fun goes on! Tuesday at the emergency ward they got higher BP readings that I did at home so I compared my two BP meters and found that the one I was using was reading low and that my resting pulse rate was around 100 bpm where it is usually 54 bpm.

My BP was also high and rising. It reach 179/104 at 122bpm and I headed back to the emergency ward, where my pulse was up to 138 bpm with A-fib.

They slowed me down to about 87 bpm with medication and gave me a blood thinner, as well as a referral to a cardiologist and prescriptions for Metoprolol and Eliquis. Imagine my dismay to discover that the pharmacy didn't have either and won't have them for until late today.

Beware becoming sensitized to metoprolol. Severe headaches and left arm pain is the warning signs. It took about 2 weeks to finally clear it from my system after I stopped taking it before the blistering headaches stopped.

I fear I need have the Doc hunt another BP med as the Lisinopril isn't getting the job done. This will be the 5th or 6th change.

Same here can't back to sleep so I'm laying in bed till 630 of course Tag jumps up about 4ish
Miss Layla picked up on what time I usually get up and started coming to my bedside at that time and sticking her head under my neck while rooting and moaning, whapping the adjacent wall with her wagging tail.

I hug, scratch, and pet her for a love-in and then she takes off for her next early morning job, which is to find our cat Melissa, whom I feed when I get up and Grayfox feeds Miss Layla when she gets up.

It is amazing how dogs have a sense of what is supposed to happen at-this-time, without a watch. Don't know if they have an internal clock, or are picking up signals from the environment.

We try not to become so regimented on our daily routine (changing up walk times, an extra coffee and joint break…) as our Maryjane picks up on every habit and rushes us a bit on the next move we make. Arlo does not have this trait as he knows nothing until it’s happening. He’s such a dork 😊

Can't go nowhere without someone asking if he can have a biscuit.
That's where all this is coming from.

I quit a couple weeks prior to knee and kidney stone surgeries because of the interference with anesthesia.

I started up again immediately upon arriving back home.

I'm now off until they figure out what is going on now with my superannuated body. Only 3.14153% of the US male population is older than 80 years old.

Tried to get the wife to quit on her 3 knee operations but smoked up til that morning.
I had 8 teeth pulled and 8 fillings all at one shot told them they're putting me out.
I smoked upto that morning.
Didn't have any repercussions but it's there

Other things happening.
Snow today and Saturday supposedly.
Almost need it travel on the sheen of glass ice.

Folks up Sunday for a week or 2 hopefully.
We are supposed to have a nice blanket of snow Saturday morning. I’m so excited as I don’t get to see snow very often. Didn’t snow here last year but the year before we got a nice snow.
