Colorado is red except for the Front range from Colorado Springs to Ft Collins. Unfortunately that is enough to control the whole state.

I am hoping with 47 coming into office that he will stop the immigrant BS and maybe piss enough people off that we start to vote them out. Right now if we had an election for Denver Mayor the Liberal puke in charge would be ran out of town. Between him and our Gay, Liberal Governor we now have 43,000 illegals living in my back yard.

Parks are closing, roads are a mess, schools are being consolidated ......all kinds of public amenities are gone to help support the illegals here......

They've taken over the central valley in Oregon as well, which out votes the rest of the state. Oregon was a progressive Republican state before that.

I have had wood burning stoves most of my adult life. Split it with sledge and wedge. Always had Lopi stoves. Today I have a gas fireplace.

I love the heat from a woodstove, it is very comforting and to watch it burn even better. The sound of a crackling stove goes well too.
The best hash I ever made came from heating it on the woodstove.

Wood burning stoves require a catalytic converter in Oregon and we have no burn days here where no fireplaces are allowed to burn. In the densely populated valley here, if everyone was burning wood the air would be thick with smoke.

Most folks have converted their fireplaces to burn gas and have glass doors.

That happens in my small residential rural neighborhood(200properties). On winter nights when the air is still the whole place fills up with smoke, and settles like a fog. The mountains keep the smoke contained.

I use to drive by a farm property, owned by a reclusive artist from California, his art sold for 6 figure numbers.
He had a huge amount of dogs over a 100. One day when driving by a mother dog with a large litter crossed the highway in front of me, I had to stop. Lucky for them I'm a caring person.

Here is the twist, his dogs were chasing down cattle and wildlife. It's a small community, just a handful of people. The people there were getting angry and I mean angry. I drove by the artist property and noticed something strange out in the field, my brain didn't want to register what I was looking at.

The angry people killed some of his dogs and impaled them out in the field, from a distance they looked like dancing dogs on their hind legs. The dogs and the community suffered because of some reclusive eccentric artist.
Police and conservation officers took action to end it before something more radical happened.
