those outdoor wood burners popular in Michigan where wife’s from… no mess in house and put up a shed next to full of wood… good to go.. just gotta travel outdoors to feed.. very efficient from what I hear….

What is RMH?

Yes they allow pellet stoves but they also have to meet emission standards with a catalytic converter.

Rocket Mass Heater a rocket stove with a mass to store heat. There are some real nicely made ones out there. Look like furniture. Russan brick heaters are closely the same as a RMH.

Same as a wood stove or fireplace, unless you have room in the house to store 3 cords of wood.

My daughter lives near anthracite country, lots of folks still using coal where she lives.

My buddy has Geothermal and loves it.

Olive oil, apple cider vinegar and Italian seasonings would be better than store bought salad dressing

I like my gas fire place. Wood just got to be to much of a hassle. I don't have the physical ability to cut it down, split, take it to the house, stack it and finally deal with the mess. What was once a pleasure is now spent at a Doctors office.

Tried to walk today but got to the lake and it was windy....28 degrees and wind.....Mrs Pute said no. So I am home and gonna walk the golf course by myself.

had hoped the same Pute… been in Cali forever… luv the weather, availability of fresh food, entertainment-music…but getting older and all I want is peace n quiet… allowing my dogs to run free on property… no frikken close neighbors…just leave me alone…except for my kids and few close friends….makes for a happy barefoot…

yea DB.., tired of driving ..ran north to Humby for yrs moving wt… so much traffic.. constant road work and assholes at every turn…yes on Giants/A’s … Niners at Kezar… Raiders plenty and been to most all blues clubs within reason…last time in LA.. Cadillac Zack’s club to see Chris Cain…otherwise never cross grapevine…

Thats what we thought and then after 60+ years in NJ, then we got the flock out of there.

The state government stupidity and disdain for productive people just gets to be too much.
