Why do they bring gravel in by ship? No gravel pits to process M gravel

The land has gotten so valuable they are filling in the old gravel pits in Irwindale Ca. Let them lay fallow a year or 2 and build commercial on it.

Ok, no icy rain but extremely cold wind gusts and feels like 10F which is super cold to me even tho some of yall can take it.
It’s actually sun shining, so I guess that must be helping but…

gonna bundle up in a bit and try the cold dog walk. They are ready and love this cold weather. I’m glad I have a fenced in yard so they can burn a bit of that energy without me…

Screwy weather in SoCal today. Started with 100mph winds and 7% humidity. Rain and snow in the local mountains and 75 degrees in the Basin. All within a 70-mile range. Blue sky here and I can see the black clouds hanging over the San Bedo mtns.
