Maybe they are drinking the Civet Coffee(beans in -poop out)

hello dogzter:)
Reminds me of that time Uncle D made kernel corn for pot luck at the family reunion. We later found out from pictures that he fed the corn to his dogs and collected up the whole kernels that passed through, gave them a rinse, and put them in a pot to prepare for "pot luck". He was my favorite Uncle even though some of his actions were extreme. He used to tell me that he really understands other people and speaks their language. Grandma was a real piece of shit so I understand what happened in the family and why she had to eat Labrador Corn. Time for a family reunion! Woot woot! Fuckers.

@oldmaninbc -- The above triggered an old memory. My Daddy and I went on a trip up the coast of the US all the way to Canada.

We were going to a sleepy little town called "St. Andrews By The Sea", where we knew some folks.

It was 1952. We crossed the border both ways several times without even having to stop. <-- Clearly, things were far more casual just after the War.

I remember being confused about the Queen. The folks we were staying with tried to explain how Elizabeth II was the Queen... but she wasn't the Queen-Queen for another year. Something to do with the King dying.

A memory: A billboard with a gorgeous, low-mileage honey in military uniform: "Sweet Caporal" <-- The supposed 'misspelling' sorta confused me at the time.
It took decades for Canada to gain independence from British rule, with 1867 starting the process of Canada becoming Canada. The other 2 important dates are 1931 and 1982 being the final move with the Canada Act.
We share many common bonds to this day.
Just as Canada and the US share bonds.

And we all live on this beautiful planet called Earth.
