I haven’t forgotten that time in the church choir where you were killing’ it with that amazing grace song. I was so impressed and was super happy to find out that you also were an alto. I almost joined the choir until I found out you didn’t come to practice because of that lack of snacks thing.

I wonder what year those were invented?

we picked Oklahoma native and paper shell pecans , like GW knows , down on our hands and knees

the commercial growers would mow under the trees , lay down tarps , and then use an old truck with a big log suspended over the truck so the log would swing

then they drove up to the tree a a reasonable clip , then hit the breaks and the hanging tree would knock the pecans out of the pecan tree
