I don’t know if you’re aware what they make a handle for that gun that folds up underneath the barrel so it’s a teardrop. Grab the handle and flip it forward and the gun comes out. If you’d like, I can put a picture of mine up, I wouldn’t own that little gun if I had to grab that little handle and shoot it, because it would jump out of my hand as well as everybody else
They've got something that looks like a wallet in your back pocket, one of the long sides falls down with a hinge action which is the grip.

Ive looked at those Pug guns also, think those are single shots

I was about 9 or 10 when I set a .22 short off in the garage vice with a hammer and a nail. Hung a tool over the hole it left. :) Had my ears ringing for hours.
Used to make little bombs out of 22 shells.
Pull out the bullet
Mt the powder out
Put bullet back in with hammer and tap it in.

One time one left a lead mark on his thigh
Took one to school put a dent in someone's car

They still.got some oomph without powder, that primer holds a helluva charge

OUCH...good thing you didn't hit an artery GW, all the lives it might have changed.
Good thing it was 22LR HP and not .45LC or I would have a shorter leg on that side.

The HP stopped about three inches below the hole in my meaty thigh. Little bleeding and no pain really, because of the shock, and left a large tear drop shaped scar relative to the bullet size because of the entry angle, HP expansion, and muzzle blast.

They pulled it out using long hemostats and gave me antibiotics, before bandaging it and sending me on my way.

Damn sore the next day and for a time afterward, but not at the time.
Did you shoot 410 slugs out of it?
Yes and always at about 10' from the target because of the short sight radius.

At that range, both the slug and the cup went through the paper target, making about a 20mm hole.

Evening folks! Kind of a lazy day but I got a money order off to CSI and made it by the compactor. The dogs had a nice ride.

Spaghetti for dinner, UGA is getting spanked. I might do a water change on the tubs later or there's always manana.

peace

Wow, that must have been a trip. I guess you went to the hospital? I got shot in the back with my brothers BB gun. I got a lot of mileage not telling momma when it happened.
I did, but we were way out in the pucker brush so it took awhile to get there.

I tried to come up with some BS to cover it with my parents, but they knew it was from fast drawing. That was the local popular craze at the time, spurred by the TV show Gunsmoke and Have Gun, Will Travel.

I actually won my high school fast draw contest at .22 seconds, but the pistols were empty and so its unclear where it was pointed when you heard the hammer drop.

In fast draw contests the difference between winner and looser is hundredths of a second and the US record is closer to .20.

Obviously faster on the trigger than the draw..................

Did you get in trouble GW?

I'm familiar with those type of injuries causing delayed pain. I worked with this fellow at a factory where newspapers were reduced to a slurry in a very large vat with rotating blades. For some reason Rolly decided he could take out an obstruction happening in the vat. I was standing on the opposite side of the vat when he pulled out his hand with 4 cleaved fingers. He started talking to me and not realizing what he had done. I was 17 and a summer student. I think I told him he might want to go to the hospital.

A few years later Rolly went into the storeroom to change a burnt out bulb, he managed to fall off the ladder and got a cord wrapped around his thumb. He was hanging there long enough where he needed the thumb removed.

I seen your answer to Sub

Yes after feeding the line side everything connected to the load is GFI protected.
The reason I say to install a GFI at each location is if you locate the feed and put the rest of the room or rooms on the load side ,they are protected but more sensitive ,
When you install a Gfi in a existing condition the absence of a ground is not as much of a issue.
If there is a fault it can be reset at the location.
Years ago when gfi were expensive they would put one in the garage and then a outside recept and a bath.
Gfi trips in the garage hidden behind something and people go for years with no bath receptical
I think you can buy a gfi breaker and protect everything on that circuit at the panel.

Define trouble? I had to sell my Colt Frontier Scout and buscadero fast draw rig.
