When I cleaned up my 5 acres I had to get a fire permit from Forestry. I had a large slash pile to burn. I had to burn in the AM as the air currents would be blowing up the mountain and away from residential buildings, the evening would be the opposite with air current blowing down mountain towards residential buildings.
At one point of time I tried walking towards the slash pile and singed my eyebrows and moustache, that sucker was hot.
Could have been worse if I had been drinking... with singed pubic hairs. You know dancing naked around the fire

Evening folks! All I accomplished today was a bowl of chili and watching Dune 2, so a productive day. My nap was a wash-out. I dosed so no bueno.
I'm having left-over Zaxby's and K is having pork chops and baking potatoes. We needed 10 lbs cause they were on sale.

What did you think of Dune 2, I watched the 1st one, well, of the new version? Seen the original ones as well.
I have to wait until I switch from Netflix to Crave to watch it, I can only watch one or the other according to my subscription with the media co. Nice thing, I can just go on the net and change it myself. Have to keep it for a month at least before I can switch it again.
Pizza dough made and rising, will punch it down soon and put in the fridge until tomorrow. Did my dishes up.
I watched it on 'Max' my step-son installed on my TV.

So I watched Dune 2 today and I have thoughts. a 3 on 1-5. Won't make an effort to watch again. At least the Lady Jessica wasn't hand-wringing in this 1.
They missed SO many great scenes! In the Lynch 1, they included a guild navigator meeting the emperor and Alia...nothing about Janis' family. At least they didn't put in that fucking 'weirding module'. And they left out Fenric, 1 of my favorite characters along with Thufor...crying shame... They left it open for Dune 3!
Read the 1st book, start again with God Emperor and read the rest that He wrote. Let's pretend his son didn't write those abominations.

No I had a Stella Harmony and gave it to my daughter years ago.
I use to have a friend who played pool tournaments, he was a very good player when he practiced everyday but when he didn't, he didn't play as well.
